I love ice-cream, and there is a lovely ice-cream store at the basement of Causeway Point! The shop is very vibrantly decorated. It is open-space all around and looks more like a kiosk, but there are a few seats available inside for customers who wish to dine in. I think it would make a really nice spot for friends, couples and family who want to take a quick break from the shopping. One plus point of the store is the wide variety of flavours they carry, from Chocolate Swiss to Mocha to Peanut B
They have a 'promotion' where you can get Belgian Waffle or Double Chocolate Brownie or Apple Crumble with a scoop of ice cream at $7.80, or $10.80 if you wish to add on a beverage as well. It was a tough choice between the belgian waffles and brownie, but eventually, brownie won and I got the brownie with a scoop of Rocher ice-cream and a drink. Brownie with A Scoop of Rocher Ice Cream + Beverage - $10.80
The food was served on a plate with the chocolate syrup designed as a web, which I thought was pretty. The ice cream was thick and milky and there was just a hint of hazelnut, and it went quite well with the brownie and chocolate sauce. Sadly, I thought that the serving was a little small for the price. I totally cleaned the entire plate and was tempted to get more!
You can also get the ice cream in the waffles cone and create your own mix in, which a friend of mine recommended. I'll definitely return again to try the other varieties and flavours, especially the Willy Wonka!
