It has been a while since we last makan zichar food from Master crab. hubby had curry fish head craving so we ordered one fish head and another dish to share.Curry fish head $22The curry gravy was great, very thick and spicy. We ate a lot of rice with this! The fish head was pretty meaty and very fresh. The accompanying veggies were a little lacking though and they don't have tau pok which I liked. But overall, a very nice local dish!Crispy prawn roll $9This was nice too. The crispy beancurd sheets wrapped with a lot of fresh prawn paste. Every bite was a mouthful of fresh crunchy prawn meat! I went there for dinner yesterday. I ordered teppanyaki tofu, deer meat and a soup for $33. Their portion was quite small, but just nice for 2 people. The tofu was okay, prawn was quite fresh, the sauce was a bit sticky. The deer meat was quite tender but overall everything was just so so. The serving time took about 15mins, the price is considered a bit expensive for me. I will come back try their other dishes next time. continue reading

I know they are supposed to be a crab specialist but did n't know their zi char standard is so low. Order a $4 crispy noodle (sheng main) but was terribly disappointed with the standard. The noodles were not crispy at all, taste more like it has been kept for very long. But the worst part was the gravy was not hot at all. Ingredients wise were pretty normal tasting as well. Its either the food was left there for long without one serving it to me else something must have went wrong in the kitchen. Overall a disappointing eat but still hope to try their crab one day. continue reading
