The fasdfood giant has recently launched a new breakfast item which is the Grand Breakfast Platter. It consists of grilled chicken patty, and fluffy scrambled eggs topped with creamy cheese. Finished with a side of juicy, grilled mushrooms, caramelised onions, and wholegrain muffins.Now when you order the set as a McDonald’s Breakfast Platter Extra Value Meal™ with Iced Milo, you will received a contest card which one stand to win 4 return tickets to Asia. The contest is available from 19 Nov to 30 Dec 2015.That is why I have ordered it as a extra value meal, which costs $9.80 as I have selected a small milo. The meal also comes with a hashbrown. From far, I could smell the fragrant and yummy smell of the caramelized onions on top of the muffin. The plain grainy muffin goes well with the soft and flavourful onions. The scrambled egg is a huge improvement from the plain one which is found in Big Breakfast. It is topped with melted cheese and sauteed button mushrooms. Lastly is the chicken. There is finally something that really have the chicken texture in McDonald's breakfast. It's breakfast patty in other breakfast meal is usually overseasoned patty with unknown minced meat in it. Although the price of the Grand Breakfast Platter costs much more than the other breakfast meal, it is well worth having one.…Read More

Usually I won't be posting reviews for McDs even though I try all their seasonal/promo McFlurry. But I just have to share this. The auntie at the dessert kiosk gave me so much Oreo!!! Gosh, it was the best McFlurry I had since I had plenty of Oreo in every spoonful. Damn shiok.I was intending to try the new flavourburst but the machine broke down. On a side note, the machine breaks down all the time. Anyway, I got the Caramel McFlurry which costs $2.80 like the usual promo McFlurry. I think it's the same caramel syrup used at McCafe. A Mcdonalds settled in the busiest part of Ang mo kio central. Do not be fooled, it is quite huge as such you can find quiet spots that even the homeless come here to rest! There is a McCafe in here.The large seating area, I was only able to fit half of it in my photographic frame.I got a couple of soft serve cones for dessert and it was piled high with soft serve! It was a delightful sight for my mother and I! It was a great way to end Christmas Day! It is sweet and yet not too sweet that you need a drink. I really like McDonalds soft serve cones in comparison to very expensive Korean or Japanese soft serve. It is a simple dessert that is cold, doesn't melt that quickly, since you are seated in an Air-conditioned McDonalds.I also ordered a small fries for a snack as well! I do appreciate that everytime I order a fries, I order it, without salt and the service staff are always willing to make me a new set of fries. McDonald's has always been my favorite place to hang out with my friends, either before or after school. The place is spacious, but most of the time it is packed with students. The service here is very good, the staffs are friendly and efficient.Matcha McFlurry - $2.80. First, they put in the soft-serve vanilla ice cream inside the cup. Then, they added a generous heap of crushed Oreo. Lastly, matcha powder was sprinkled on top. However, I found my Matcha McFlurry very plain. I barely tasted the matcha. Instead, the vanilla flavor was overwhelming. The matcha didn't blend well with the vanilla. Nonetheless, I was satisfied of the amount of matcha powder and Oreo that was put. But overall, not really impressive :(.Chicken Honey Drumlets (10 pcs). Sorry, I forget the price, but it should be around $10. Their drumlets were served piping hot. They had crispy skin outside and tender flesh inside. There was also hint of lemon, but I almost couldn't taste the honey. The size was a bit small though.Double Chocolate Frappe (medium size) - $4.60. It was damn good! Tasted very chocolatey, topped with whipped cream, chocolate sauce, and chocolate powder. Suitable for hardcore chocolate lovers like me hehe.Oreo Cheesecake - $4.95. This is probably one of the best Oreo cheesecake I've ever tasted so far. Seen this new item on tv commercial quite often but it's was only recently then i got the chance to try it. I opt for the sausage one as i wanted more meat in it. I always love Mac scrambled eggs and it's so good to enjoy it when it's all wrapped up with sausage and eat it when it's piping hot, freshly prepared! Normally I don't eat fast food because of health conscious. But I like their French fries, nuggets, fillet-o-fish and mc chicken. I was very delighted when I saw banana pies on their menu.Was tired of apple pies and this new creation is value for money and the taste was not compromised.I topped up about a dollar for this with my all time favourite chicken mcnuggets meal with large fries and refreshing iced green tea.The pie crust is hot and crispy and the inner banana fillings is juicy and nicely done,not too sweet with the right banana richness.I hope they keep this wonderful creation in their menu.…Read More

My breakfast is usually slice of bread. However, this morning, I had an extraordinary Supreme Deluxe Breakfast from McDonald. The breakfast set costs $8.90 comprising of muffin, sausage, scrambled egg, beacon, 2 hot pancake. The beacon was not oily nor salty. It was well done. The scrambled egg was fresh. Haven't had McDonald's for quite some time and when I know they launched the new Rendang Beef Burger, I just had to give it a try! First impression was good cause it was piping hot when I got it. While I must give an applause to McDonald's for their attempt to blend local culture durian into their ice-cream, it doesn't help that it costs $2.80 for a cup and that I hardly know of any marketing promotion that has been done to promote this ice-cream.Looking at the contents, it seem rather delicious with all the 'cereal'-like toppings, but the durian ice-craem melted really fast and it tasted quite awkward, like some cheap brand of ice-cream and it became liquid very quickly even though i was in the air-conditioned shopping center.i wouldn't recommend it, just go order McFlurry! :)…Read More

One night after jamming.... i went to this place to have my supper....The order McSpicy...... The burger was awesome.... one chicken thigh with no mayo and extra lettuce..... Of course i add in the chili sauce to the bun and the chicken to give it an extra tinge of spice...The order also came with fries....
