Have bought a packet of this famous mee pok noodles from this stall for my dinner.  This stall uncle is very friendly and fast in service.  The stall is also clean and tidy.  Only problem is the foocourt seatings are quite limited and all seats are squeezy and uncomfortable.Due to this reason, I decided to buy back home to eat comfortable in my birdnest.  For the price of $3.80 per serving, is consider quite reasonably priced.  The mee pok portion is very generous and is chewy and not soggy.  Lots of minced pork can be found in this dish that are chewy and tender.  The sauce for tossing the mee pok is sweet and flavourful as well.   would be back again to try other dishes from this stall. continue reading

The minced pork kway teow here is one of my favourite local dish. The kway teow is very smooth and easy to swallow. The ingredients in it are really generous which includes juicy minced pork meat, thinly sliced pork livers, sliced chinese mushrooms, lots of crunchy beansprouts and also my favourite crispy deep fried pork cubes. Every mouthful of it, you can really taste it is fragrant and delicious. The soup is also full of the sweetness from the meaty ingredients and chinese spicies added to it. continue reading

I think this is the best mushroom minced meat noodle stall in Tampines. It also has a special item crispy meat ball noodle which was quite popular but I did not try it. Other than that the stall also sells Prawn Noodle, Fishball Noodle and Chicken Cutlet Noodle.I went for the traditional mushroom minced meat noodle for my lunch. The noodle is fantastic because it is springy and soft to the bite. Coupled with the sauce that has vinegar, chilli, onion oil and dark soya sauce, the noodles just turned out delicious. The mushroom is cooked well as it has adsorbed the taste and aroma of the ingredients. However, I think the serving is very small for $3.50. I do not think it is very filling. Additionally, I think the soup has way too much pepper in it. continue reading
