Famous and affordable modern Ice-blended, Mei Heong Yuan had its good reputation for heavenly desserts served. Picture displayed on wall was appealing, overall was pretty and colourful. The space was quite cramped, we need to pay immediately at cashier upon ordering. It was a lively night, everybody busy chatting, laughing and eating.Menu was one piece with two sides, straightforward and fuss –free to pick from. Price was started from $3.00, they offered dessert and snack in sweetness basically.

I was at the basement at Ion and looking to have some desserts, and I settled for Mei Heong Yuen as I've tried their green tea shaved ice previously, which was good. I ordered the banana chocolate shaved ice which costs around $5+. The ice melts in your mouth and banana pieces went well with the shaved ice; but I didn't really like the chocolate shaved ice, makes one feel jelat after a while. Portion is much bigger than ji de chi's though.

Located at the basement of Ion Orchard, Mei Heong Yuen is a good place to stop for some desserts after a day of shopping. The have other traditional chinese desserts as well, but I settled for the green tea snow ice with red beans as it was a very hot day. The snow ice was quite flavouful and green tea taste quite distinct, but red beans were too sugary. Portion is big, so good for 2 to share.

A popular dessert/peanut brand known from the stretch of Chinatown shop houses, I see more than one branches being opened all around Singapore. Was pleased that Orchard's ION have a branch over at basement four, where you can find many nice savory food. a small shop at B4. the shop could only be seated with approx 15 customers. their ice desserts are the most well-known. well known for their soft and dedicated ice flakes that makes one feel like eating snow. one of their famous one would be chendol ice topped with assorted toppings. i love the fact that the gula melaka is added at your own time own target. in other words, you determine how sweet you want for your dessert!their 3 coloured cake consist of carrot cake, yam cake and pumpkin cake.

Nestled along the basement fast food outlets of ION Orchard, Mei Heong Yuen offers around 5 tiny tables for patrons to sit around to have their after meal desserts.My friends and I waited close to 15 minutes to get a seat of 4. This particular shop is pretty small thus chairs and tables are packed very close together in order to include the maximum number of chairs and tables. We had the mango dessert, it taste not bad. Met my friend for dinner at ION orchard and we ended up at this dessert stall at the basement of ION after dinner. Mei Heong Yuen Dessert sounds familiar isn’t it? The main branch is at Chinatown.As the weather is pretty hot and humid lately, we went for the cold dessert. We ordered Lychee & Watermelon Snow Ice, Mango & Strawberry Snow Ice and Almond & Sesame Snow Ice. Beauty shaved ice dessert that was refreshing for the hot weather.

Had their mango shaved ice. Was pretty good! The mango was fresh and the ice thing was pretty refreshing! But i think it may be a bit pricey. They have other desserts too, both hot and cold. Would love to try their almond paste and black sesame paste one day too. When i went that day it was pretty crowded. Would be good to go early and not during meal times too. Makes for a good afternoon snack!

A strong aroma and taste of sesame, this plate of snow ice tastes especially refreshing on a warm afternoon. The snow ice is not too sweet, melts in your mouth and has a strong pleasant aftertaste of sesame. My sis was craving for Mango Xi Mi Lu. When we were at ION Orchard the other day, heard friends saying about the dessert shop , Mei Heong Yuen... The main branch was at Bugis.
