Great place for late night dessert

Great ice cream here! Creamy with rich flavors! None of that fake additive tasting ice creams. Flavors change from day to day, be sure to call them up or check their Facebook page for their flavors. Liked the grape yakult yogurt, root beer float and pineapple tart. White choc speculoos & yuzu are ok. Didn't really like their milo fudge cake and green tea though. Waffles do take some time as they are made fresh! Love their cones too

 Earl Grey and Green tea Ice Cream with waffle ($8.40) - Both scoops of ice cream was heavily flavoured. It taste similar to drinking matcha or earl grey milk tea. Waffle was warm and crispy, less of moist.

 As for Red Velvet, small chucks of red velvet cake are mixed with the buttery ice cream and this adds on to the texture of it.

Sunshine Plaza is not an unfamiliar place for the frequent patrons of Victor's Kitchen or Parklane Wanton Noodles. Its a good place to chill especially for the students from Lasalle and SMU. Have your fresh scoop of ice cream from Merely ice cream!

Nice ice cream offerings!

We tried the salted butter scotch and it was really good. Considering it is a hot afternoon! We also tried the grape yakult yogurt. It was very creamy and light, flavourful too! It contrusted so well with the salted butterscotch. Ambience was really good too. This was was operated by youngsters and frequented by youngsters too. Makes me feel young once again!

They have nearly 15 over ice cream flavours! And i would say beside the usual flavour, they have quite a number of special flavours! Also, their ice cream is made in a pretty unique way. Their ice cream are generally smooth and thick not icy. Taste very fresh and natural! 3 scoops for $7.90.
Chocolate flavour: Uses dark chocolate, bitter with tinge of sweetness.
Yuzu Sorbet: Light and refreshing with tiny bits of zest
Red Velvet Cake: Very unique taste of flavour, sourish sweet yet tinge of salty-ness. Cream cheese as ice cream base with chunks of red velvet cakes! Yums!
Really friendly staff too!

I love ice cream and having it on crispy waffles is the best combination ever! My friend brought me to check out this relatively new ice cream shop at sunshine plaza! We got double scoops of ice-cream on waffles! We choose the Root Beer Float and Salted Butterscotch flavour.  The Bailey’s Coffee here is one of the few of this flavour that I enjoyed thoroughly. While places that usually serve both Bailey’s and Coffee seperately are fine, places that served them combined usually have coffee overpowering Bailey’s or vice versa. I liked how the one here started with a hint of coffee, and then halfway throufh the familiar flavour of Bailey’s kicks in to provide a even weightage of each flavour. Breakfast Cereal is an even more interesting flavour from the combination of milk and cereal. The result was a nice milky sensation with a hint of cornflakes. It might seem weird, but I enjoyed the serving I had. The only small problem I had with the two flavours were that though it was not very distinctive, the ice-cream felt slightly grainy from the ingredients used; fine coffee grains in the Bailey’s Coffee and fine grinded cornflakes from the Breakfast Cereal, which was fine for me.

Service is good. They have quick service despite the long queues. Like Ben & Jerry's we are served by youngsters who are working as part time.

Ambience
Not much space and seats placing are quite narrow. Since it is near to schools like SMU, the students usually flocked into the ice cream shop and enjoy their chats here.

 Merelyicecream is just a small ice cream parlours with very limited seats. I think there's only around 30 seats inside? There's a few outdoors also! The staff was very friendly as well they are alright with us tasting the ice cream before ordering.

Usually, it's quite empty here. I guess they just started the parlour that's why there's not much people patronizing it yet. But their ice cream was fine
