Mentaiko King crab have a special Colour on pasta which is all black with squid texture and toppling with Alaska crab meat. ( Very small portion ). The first bite will cost your mouth to become black too. Make it a laughing for everyone and taste was very good with this squid taste. The ingredient look empty but with some other toppling will be great like clams etc.

Ocean arrabbiata consists of prawns , clams mixture with tomatoes sauce made a perfect matching. The taste is great with fresh ingredients like prawns with spongy feel.

Overall is a good experience.

Waiting time was 20-30 minutes for souffle as they make it fresh on the spot. Don't order this if you're very hungry! My friend had the aglio olio spaghetti while I had their Soufflé Au Curry ($16.80). Souffle was so fluffy and moist, with an eggy flavour while the rice beneath the souffle was fat and fluffy. Special only at miam miam, a good blend of creamy peanut butter with fresh banana in milk. Adding of peanut butter is optional at your request. Tasted great but having it down already filled my stomach by half before the food came.

Enjoy the moment with this melted chocolate on top of the souffle, warm. The natural bitterness of the chocolate was well balanced up by the icing sugar drizzled on top of the spongy souffle.

Overall, I find that the food is of average. However, service was prompt and friendly with a good ambience suitable for families and friends.

Miam Miam is a fusion French-Japanese restaurant with two branches - one at Westgate and another at Bugis Junction. On my pursuit to finish all the restaurants on Westgate's directory (nah I kid. There are too little fun eating places in the west, really), Miam Miam is the choice for a dinner place!The Riz Noir Black Risotto ($17.80++) was more prominent on the menu but I was kinda averse to it because I don't want to walk around with black teeth (thereafter I found that it didn't stain at all)!

The Riz Noir Black Risotto ($17.80++) was more prominent on the menu but I was kinda averse to it because I don't want to walk around with black teeth (thereafter I found that it didn't stain at all)! Pride versus gluttony as sins... I give in to gluttony. Turns out I loved this dish a lot! Using Japanese rice to make this savoury, sea-salt flavoured squid ink risotto, I love how flavourful it is alongside juicy fat prawns, calamari and scallops! The well-cooked omu egg blanketed across the risotto was also a delightful touch. I was quite surprised by the portion though, it was kind of ridiculously small because the bowl was so shallow! :/ Well, time to learn how to make this by myself.

The Miam Miam Spaghetti ($15.80++) pales in comparison although it was considerably more generous in portion. The linguine was laced with garlic oil-based sauce and resembles a little like hokkien mee, served with bacon slices, luncheon meat/sausages, egg, eggplant, tomatoes and spinach. It feels more Chinese than French or Japanese though. I found it slightly oily than ideal. Overall, the experience at Miam Miam is still great even though the mains are a little pricey for their portion and taste for the Riz Noir Black Risotto and Miam Miam Spaghetti respectively. It's good for a one-time experience.

Miam Miam Spaghetti ($15.80++)
Spaghetti sautéed with frankfurters, tomatoes, baby spinach and bacon. Tossed with French butter, secret broth and shoyu. Tastes quite nice and mixed with the poached egg, it tastes even creamier.

Riz Au Curry ($15.50++)

Famous French Toast ($9.80++)
A waiting time of 30 mintues. Cubes of soft and sweet toast, topped with whipped cream and served with syrup. Feel that there is no need for the syrup as it is quite sweet on its own.

Overall not bad. But quite long waiting for food and long queue for a table.

Headed to the Westgate outlet on a Saturday evening. Got a table fairly quickly without much waiting. Brightly lit and cushy seats with several separate carrels gives one a comfortable dining feeling. Quite a good setting for family or big group dining.

Menu is quite limited though. For mains, it is either pasta or rice. Had the Miam Miam Spaghetti ($15.80). Every mouthful was flavorful with the lightly sautéed taste of its secret broth, Shoyu and butter. It is justifiably one of the recommended ones.

Had the French Toast too of course as strongly recommended by my friend. There was a dollop of fresh cream on top which tasted light and not too sweet. Complemented perfectly with the bread, and came also with Maple syrup in a small side bottle for extra sweetness if preferred. The bread was soft and fluffy. However I don't really see why it is worth to pay $9.80++ for just a few chunks of soft French toast. It is just bread with egg coating.

Besides that, tried the original souffle pancake ($8.80) as well but again, it was unimpressive at all. Just a small normal pancake, quite fluffy though, but was too plain and I took only a quarter of it. Don't bother trying this really..

Overall, slightly above average food quality for some of the dishes but food all are fresh. So food waiting time can be long sometimes. Worth a try except the Soufflé Pancake. Great seating arrangement for group dining as well.

Up next is the signature French Toast which is very popular! I've been wanting to try it for a long time and it's really good! The french toast goes really well with the whipped cream and i was really enjoying this delicious treat! But i saw from some pictures online that it was drizzled with maple syrup or something but i don't have it. But it's still good so i'm a satisfied customer. Maybe i will double check for my next visit ^_^
