This seems to be a rather popular stall during lunch in this food centre. I wanted something light so this happened to be an obvious choice for me. I placed the order and given my table then waited at the table. I waited for about 15 minutes before the Uncle delivered it. The bowl of ban mian was reasonably priced at $3. It was served with ingredients like minced meat, vegetable, egg and topped with ikan belis to serve. The soup was pretty plain though. The texture and taste of the handmade noo

The texture and taste of the handmade noodle did not fare too outstandingly but a good choice nonetheless if you are looking for a simple lunch and do not mind waiting for a bit.

Ordered a bowl of ban mian and I must say that it was quite disappointing. There’s always a long wait for the ban mian during lunch time, so I decided to try out what’s so special about it. The soup was bland. The noodles were soft, overcooked. I can’t find a reason to eat this unless I’m under the weather.

Without hesitation, I asked for the dry version of the ban mian in mian kuey version (square noodles) because of the hot, hot, weather these past few days after my trip from Mustafa! Goodness gracious, how the noodle looked small and little compared to the usual full bowl of soup and noodles that it looked like a huge portion of noodle. For $3, the usual style with egg, pak choy and a dash of garlic and an additional wanton was not giving any sickening too-full-over-flour-meals. For $3, the usual style with egg, pak choy and a dash of garlic and an additional wanton was not giving any sickening too-full-over-flour-meals. The dry soup taste was rather sweet and I added more vinegar and soy sauce and it kinda muddled into the taste. It was a good break and for the price, it was a hearty portion!
