Me and my father use to frequent the old store at middle road at the old days. The broth was good and the instestines and thouroughly clean so you do not taste any odd smell when you eat them.

There is another store located in sam leong road which are inherited from the same owner selling the same type of noodles. I have tried both of them.

Sam Leong road is more to the old taste, however this stall the standard occasionally fluctuate. But overall the broth was tasty and the pork ribs was soft enough to melt in your mouth.

I always frequented this store at least once a week.

This is my second visit to Middle Road Pork Ribs Prawn Mee. Middle Road Pork Ribs Prawn Mee is located in a coffee shop behind Bugis+. It is located at then second coffee shop, the middle one among the row of three coffee shops. There was a short queue at the stall. Luckily, we did not have to wait too long before it was our turn to order.I ordered the Prawn Pork Rib Noodles which cost $4. I ordered the Prawn Pork Rib Noodles which cost $4. The Prawn Pork Rib Noodles consisted of noodles, pork ribs, prawns (de-shelled), bean sprouts and pork lard. The prawns this time tasted different. They were hard and salty. The pork ribs on the other hand were tender.

The light brown soup / broth was robust, flavourful and tasty. However, this time I felt thirsty after drinking the soup.

Standard seems to have dropped.

Middle Road Pork Ribs Prawn Mee is located in Bugis at a (2nd to be precise) coffee shop behind Iluma. It is weird that there is another similar stall located at 16 Sam Leong Road with the same name, dishes, prices and even opening hours. Does anyone know if these 2 stalls are related?Middle Road Pork Ribs Prawn Mee is located at the corner of the coffee shop. Looks like this stall has been advertised (endorsed) in the newspapers in the past.

Ordered the Prawn Pork Rib Noodles for $4.00. Ingredients include noodle, prawns, pork ribs, beansprouts and lard. The prawns small and de-shelled were firm and sweet. The pork ribs despite the many pieces given was hard.

The broth was brown in colour, clear and on the oily end. Likely made from prawn heads and pork bones. It's taste was unique; almost like bak kut teh soup mixed with prawn soup.

Overall, I felt that this bowl of prawn noodles was yummy and unique (broth). It would have been much better if it was less oily.
