Tiong bahru food market.

Prawn Noodles - S$3Depending on my mood, sometimes I will go for the Dry version and sometimes I will go for the Soup version of the 'Prawn Noodles'. For a start, ingredients like 'Prawns'(Of course lah), 'Meatballs', slices of 'Fish Cake', 'Beansprouts', 'Kang Kong' and few slices of 'lean meat'. If you are into spicy stuff, the dry version of the 'Prawn Noodles' over here can really be very spicy. Prawn Noodles - S$3

Depending on my mood, sometimes I will go for the Dry version and sometimes I will go for the Soup version of the 'Prawn Noodles'. Besides for the powderish 'Chilli Powder', you can also add the 'sliced chilli', which can really spice up the overall taste of this dish to the MAX and that's where the bowl of non pepperish, tasty soup steps in.
The reason why I keep going back for more 'Prawn Noodles' was mainly due to the fresh ingredients and the tasty soup that they are offering over here. On top of that, the stall owner is pretty polite and he keeps saying 'Thank You' for patronising his stall and he really puts his heart in ensuring the quality of the delicious bowl of 'Prawn Noodles' that will be delivered to all the customers everyday.

Grabbed some prawn mee for dinner that day after seeing that most of the other stalls were already closed. Was really satisfied with my choice of meal, with the noodle soup dish being very yummy. Prawns were fresh and the portion reasonable for $3. Noodles are cooked just nice and are not too soggy. I really like the fish cake and beansprouts that came with the dish too.

The prawn mee here is pretty good. I guess that's why the queue is always so long. Priced reasonably, the prawn mee soup has a pretty good flavour and the prawns used are fresh and cooked to perfection. I must prefer the dry version though, the delicious sauce is absolutely delicious and complements the ingredients and noodles super duper well. They also give lots of beansprouts for crunch.

This is one of the stalls that i have been patronising on a regular basis. Their attentive customer service is one of the main reasons that gotten me to come back. Their standard has been quite consistent but it can be disappointing at times just like this time. The pork ribs did not cook well enough so the meat was extremely chewy and a little tough too. The prawns tasted really fresh though. The mee pok was nicely cooked to give it the amazing springiness. I always like my bowl of noodle with

I always like my bowl of noodle with extra chill added. And, what made this bowl of noodle delightfully tasty was that amount of sinful fried pork lards added to enhance its taste.

It was a hearty meal nonetheless.

I love the soup base of this prawn mee as it is boiled with fresh ingredients and is has little (or no) MSG because I don't feel thirsty after finishing the whole bowl of soup. With $4, you can choose from any starch available (Kuey Tiao, Yellow Noodle, Bee Hoon or even Mee Pok if I remember correctly) to go with the generous serving of fresh solid prawns (4 in total) and 2 pieces of pork ribs. Or if you are not a fan of pork ribs or want to save money, you can order the $3 portion which switch

The stall owners are really very friendly, smiling at you when you place your order, really make your day with this kind gesture.

Try their dry version of the prawn mee and ask for extra chili powder if you are a fan of chili, you will not be disappointed!

This is my regular prawn noodle in this food centre. Long queue can be spotted during lunch and dinner. I always ordered yellow noodle served with prawns and pork ribs. The ingredients tasted really fresh. The texture of their pork ribs was just right, it can be bite off the bone quite easily. It served with kang kong and bean sprouts. Nicely fried pork lards were added to enhance the fragrance and taste.

This stall has always gotten one of the longest queues in this food centre during lunch. I still decided to join in when i was there. Their ingredients like the prawns and pork ribs have always tasted fresh. The texture of the pork ribs definitely worth commendable, it was cooked till the right softness. And so, when you bite it, the meat came off the bone effortlessly.

The owner is always smiling and never forgets to say 'thank you' each time. He is the 2nd generation taken over the stall from his father. Both father and son ever appeared on the TV once. Their business used to be rather bad when the son newly taken over the business but with the assistance of an renowned Chef that came out with an improvised recipe then the business started to take off once more.

This stall probably has one of the better customer service amongst other hawker stalls in Singapore. Such is definitely a good effort to be kept up.

Ordered the Pork Rib Prawn Noodles. It certainly looked substantial, given there were 3 medium-sized prawns and 2 medium-sized pork ribs. The taste of the noodles (kway teow mee) with the sauce was perfect! You could just eat this alone without the prawns and pork ribs! In fact, the ironic thing was I felt that the prawns and pork ribs were upsetting the overall flavour of the dish. Maybe because the texture of the pork ribs were quite tough (disappointing for its size). The prawns were just

Maybe because the texture of the pork ribs were quite tough (disappointing for its size). The prawns were just average.

I'll order from this stall again, but next time round, I'll just get Prawn Noodles alone! Lovely!

Reasonably priced bowl of Prawn Mee. I prefer the dry version that came with 3 pieces of prawns and 2 pieces of nicely braised pork ribs. There is a constant queue during the lunch and dinner time but the service is still pretty fast. Plus point is the owner is nice and never forget to thank you for patronising them.
