Signature Dishes
MIxed vegetable rice is the best packet lunch to have because its easy to eat and you get a variety of dishes including vegetables, meat and egg or tofu. I had cabbage, chicken and a braised egg for dinner that day. The meal was cheap, less than three dollars and the food was good. The rice was not too hard and was well-cooked. The egg and chicken were particularly flavourful. The cabbage, although a little too overcooked, looked fresh and appetizing. It was a filling dinner!

Mixed vegetable rice is one of the easiest food to order when you have no particular craving upon entering a food court or coffee shop. Most stalls at least have 10 or more choices to choose from. But nowadays, mixed vegetable rice prices are starting to increase, from the starting $2.50 to some about $4. And the portion is not a lot as well. NTU Canteen A’s mixed vegetable rice price remains rather affordable and continues to attract many people to the stall. The dishes they cooked are really tasty and fresh. Especially their fried fish. The fish does not have the smelly fishy smell.
