The chawanmushi $3.50 is very nice. but portion is small. strongly recommended!Huge serving of the Salsa Dory fish. but get a bit sick of eating it after a while. Taste still alright.3 flavour hot stone is very nice. portion is slightly small. Recommended! But taste a bit like pepperlunch. except its stickier and more wet.Fried Pork Udon. Taste like fried with ketchup. prefer it to be fried with chilli sauce though! For people who dont eat spicy food, it should be alright! portion is normal.Soft

Really enjoy having this udon soup dish as the presentation is colour and smell good as well. THe service here is also very friendly and approachable. THe udon used is very chewy and smooth. THe added scrambled egg in it has make the noodles more tasty and flavourable too. THe soup base is quite sweet, which filled with the lovely taste from the pork meat used in it.

Went to MOF at NEX because my friend was craving Japanese food and she just walked right in! She ordered an unagi bento and I ordered this salmon pasta. Unagi bento looked really nice although the serving portion was really small. Salmon pasta was nice on the first few mouthfuls however the cheese was getting to much for me and could not finish it in the end. I think MOF food are over-priced for the quality and quantity and we paid a total of almost $45 for this meal. Will probably not return fo

i am not fancy for MOF foods as their taste was ok only. Neverthless the dinner was pleasant. The foods are acceptable except for the service wasn't that pleasant. I remembered we were seated at the end of the restaurant. It was isolated away and we are searching high and low for the service staffs as they hardly walked pass our area except for food serving. I recently discovered this at MOF. I was not feeling very hungry and i wanted something light and sweet. SO I opted for this dish- the smoked salmon pancakes dish. It was better than I had expected! The pancakes on its own were delicious enough already. And the smoked salmon was really good. There was these cheese sauce that came with it which I thought was a unique touch.

I met up with a friend at Nex and decided to try out the MOF buffet. Each person can choose either the cheese or the chocolate fondue and we picked 1 each to share. The rest of the ice cream, pancakes, hand rolls and hot green tea were free flow! (The soft serve with the sweet potato or yam is limited to one per person) I found that this was more of a snacks and dessert buffet. Went there for dinner with friends. The Ice Matcha and Matcha Latte was not bad. The Matcha Latte taste just righ not too sweet or bland. The green tea aroma was thick and I can even taste the green tea taste. It really goes well with the milk and it was very refreshing too. Was attracted by the colourful pictures on its menu for this set and decided to give it a try. The chicken meat is cooked in teriyaki sauce, which is quite tasty and the portion is just alright a person. The side which includes stir fried cabbage with sliced capsicums is just the usual stir fried vegetables which does not have any special taste in it. This was my very 1st visit to MOF. If my friend didnt say to eat here, I doubt I would even know of this place. The menu was extensive, with many choices to choose from - hot plate, sushi, pasta, rice etc. I had to look thru a couple of times before coming to a decision - ebi curry rice. This has been my favourite since I went Poly, and after I graduated, I had no chance to eat it anymore (in school).When the food arrived, smoke can be seen rising from it; it was piping hot! well this place has many variety of food.. but you have to choose wisely as not all food taste greatas for this i recommend it as the sauce was special and tasty.. but well depends on luck.. as that time the seafood was not very fresh...but the rice was tasty.. its garlic rice if i did not remember wrongly.. i don't recommend a set.. except with the rice.. since there's a huge pile of salad on the hot plate itself..as for the soup.. try others except chicken.. =)

Had a go at a plate of Wasabi Seafood Salad and I must say, for the price, it’s quite reasonable la. The addition of wasabi to a salad is refreshing and a first for me, a pleasant one. It serves as a really good appetizer actually. The cuttlefish and prawns tasted fine and the vegetables were crunchy.

Went there with friend for lunch. I've been here quite few times, food here quite nice to eat especially dessert. After go through the menu, I decided to order Seafood Toji, salmon and Katsu Curry. The seafood toji was nicely presented, with fresh prawn and calm in a clear broth. This was very light and quite salty (although probably contained quite a bit of msg) The broth went well with the sticky rice, although it quite salty. All the seafood was fresh and tender. Macha Mixed-Imo and Yam ($6.8)The mocha is very tasty, i like it, not like other shop one (bitter), it is very rich in green tea flavour. The rich-creamy vanilla ice cream is like the sundae cone of Mcd ,but the mocha mixed with the cream makes it full of mocha taste. Imo (sweet potato) and yam are fried.
