As I walked by Mr Bean, I saw a promo on for Double chocolate pancakes! I never tried those before and they looked tempting. It was basically a chocolate pancake with chocolate filling. I also decided to get their cheese pancake and got a cup of fresh soya milk to wash it down.I was a little disappointed about the double choc pancake as I found it too crispy on the outside which made it a little hard to bite into. It was also extremely messy as the chocolate oozes out alot; the texture was somewhat like chocolate sauce. It didn't taste as great as I expected out to be. Infact, I find their normal chocolate pancakes nicer as the chocolate seems to be a thicker version and is less messy. The cheese pancake was good! Though the cheese was melted, it did not go to the extent of oozing out of the pancake which made it perfect for a quick snack. The soya bean milk was the classic of the lot. I like how its not too sweet and it fills you up. continue reading

If you are looking for pineapple tarts, maybe you can go to Mr bean outlet to purchase them. They are sold in nice boxes that allows you to give it as a gift to others. They come in boxes like this. There are actually 12 pineapple tarts. Pardon the photos! couldn't resist myself from eating 2 of them! LOL.This is how it look inside. This is how the filling look like. Overall, i think the pineapple tarts are not bad. 12 pineapples tarts cost $4.50. I will buy next time as a gift to others. continue reading

It has always been my favourite. I have always love this rose syrup drink which i found out later that the actual name for this is called Bandung. I am hooked when i first tasted it from Mr Bean and have been keep coming back for more Pearly Bandung with Pearls since then. I prefer it to be sweeter thus i always made a special request to have extra sweetness level, i love the black pearls, i love the nice and chewy texture and it went really well with the Bandung. And the color of this drink is so beautiful to look at, isn't it? I always have my Pearly Bandung with Pearls together with a piece of red bean pancake. A perfect combination for snack. continue reading
