Finally, I managed to buy a few pieces of Cempedak from Mr TehTarik Coffeeshop since I was early. These Cempedak are so saleable and are sold out very fast. Each Cempedak pulp dipped in battered and deep fried in hot oil.It has to be taken immediately after frying for its fragrance and crispiness. The Cempedak taste is sweet and closer to a Jackfruit family with a gummy taste, but not quite as strong as the smell of the durian. It has to be taken immediately after frying for its fragrance and crispiness.

The Cempedak taste is sweet and closer to a Jackfruit family with a gummy taste, but not quite as strong as the smell of the durian. I prefer the taste of Cempedak than Jackfruit.

The Wadai I bought from the same stall has nothing except flour and some small pieces of vegetables.

I believed this is the vegan version of Wdai.

Normally Wadai are prepared with a few pieces of small prawns scattered in each dough.

I like the salty taste of the Wadai.

If there were a few pieces of small prawns added it would be even be more flavorful. The green chillies that goes with the Wadai is just Ommph.

Both Cempedak and Wadai are priced at 50 cents each.

This stall not only famous for their cold and hot the tarik, their pratas are also one of my favourite items to have here. Especially like their plain pratas, which are very chewy on the inner layer, and very crispy on the outer layer. The portion is also quite alright and taste great on its own as well. Their curry chicken will always be my ideal choice when eating with the pratas. Chicken meat is very tender and juicy. The curry gravy is also thick and slightly spicy as well. At less tha

It's my first time trying out at Mr Teh Tarik. As suggested by friends, I had the iced version and not too bad the taste but very sweet though. It's at $1.70 per glass. We had roti prata kosong with the fish curry and the curry were slightly bitter in taste. We also had roti john and found that they added some pepper sauce in between the bread and fried mee goreng and which was not too bad. It was crowded here and yet the serving was fast and efficient.

I find that it's too stuffy to dine in so I decided to buy back to my place which is only about 10 mins walk. The curry gravy is yummy and they actually gave more than enough. Good when taken hot so I had to put it in my microwave before consuming. I ordered 2 pieces of kosong prata and it came crispy. Good to eat while watching late night TV. The bandung taste great too. Not very sweet unlike those you can find in other coffee shops.

Somehow i'm not used to malay chicken rice as i find the chicken deep fried too long and the meat taste dry and the chicken rice while its fragrance is soft and wet but there are many customers including chinese eating the chicken rice here.Teh tarik for me also too thin and i find it too sweet but again many customers are drinking teh tarik here.
