Came to this restaurant with my friend to have our dinner.  Environment is quite cooling but alittle squeezy.  Service was friendly and quite fast.  The bubble tea with pearl is very sweet and the black pearls are quite hard and difficult to bite. For the vegetarian spicy noodles, is filled with lots of chewy mushrooms, that make it very flavourful. The gravy is thick and spicy as well. Spent less than $20 for the above which is reasonable. continue reading

Situated at a cosy corner at Toa Payoh Entertainment Centre, this little cafe serves some good selection of Taiwanese and local food and bubble tea. Dishes start from simple ones such as braised minced pork rice, scissors curry rice to curry chicken and bubble tea. I've always wanted to try their curry chicken rice, but it's always sold out everytime I visit after 6pm. So most of the times I'll get myself their Braised Minced Pork Rice, it should cost around $4-5 where it comes with bubble tea of your choice. I won't recommend buying the drink on its own if you're not eating, it's pretty watery. But their food are great!  continue reading

Had dinner there and ordered set meal 3, which consists of curry chicken, rice and taiwan sausages. I'd topped up $1 to change the drink to hot almond milk tea.on the whole the curry chicken is good. The curry is not over spicy, and comes with 2 chicken wings and 2 large potato chunks. The rice is rather hard, so i poured lotsa curry gravy to soften it.the taiwan sausages are too oily though nice. Feels sinful after my meal.Hot almond tea is normal, nothing worth mentioning.i've visited this place since >10 years ago, and find that the standard of the food drops slightly over the years. The people are more interested in chatting among themselves than serving customers. continue reading
