I love buying rice from this Muslim stall
because the price of the food is cheap and reasonable,
the food was also very delicious!!

The rice they used are high-quality rice, so it didn't tasted 'wet' and 'soft'!!

The SAMBAL SQUID is my ALL-TIME FAVOURITE from this stall!!
The squid was chewy and yummy.
Sambal was spicy but not that spicy!!
Extremely great combination with the squid and rice!!
My friends love this dish too!!!

The cabbage was quite okay.
Not very oily.
The cabbage was not over-cooked, just nice, very satisfying meal

The aunty told me not to point at the dish when I'm choosing it, so I guess that they are extremely hygienic and clean!

Price is very cheap as well!
Service is so-so

The Muslim Stall in Nanyang Polytechnic's South Canteen is famous for its yummy Muslim meals,
besides selling its food at an inexpensive (budget) price!!

Every morning, you can get a set of Nasi Lemak for only 1 dollar.
As shown in the photo, the Nasi Lemak consists of:
1. Coconut Milk Rice
2. 2 pieces of chicken drumlets
3. Fried Omelette
4. Fried Anchovies
5. Fried Groundnuts
6. Cucumber
7. Sambal

The rice is very fragrant and the portion is quite big. This meal will last you till lunch

The drumlets are also good. Strong pepper taste.
Sometimes I will request to replace the drumlets with more OMMELETTE (because I'm an egg lover
)
Omelette was awesome! Quite oily sometimes =x
The portion of fried anchovies and groundnuts are quite little. You can't expect so much from $1, right?
Cucumber was fresh

And sambal tasted LOVELYYYY. Goes superb with the rice!!!!

Usually, the Nasi Lemak finishes by 10am, so the early bird catches the worm!!
Service was okay, environment was extremely clean! The aunty was super hygienic!!

The stall always have a long long queue during lunch time peak hour. There are many varieties such as chicken curry, vegetables, sambal sotong, egg and etc. They also sell nasi lemak at $1 which is affordable by student like me. The $1 nasi lemak consist of fried egg, cucumber, peanuts and 2 chicken drumsticks. It is SUPER DUPER worth for trying!! Alt

Although they sell their food at lowest price, they maintain the quality of their food well. So, do come down and have a try!

The malay cuisine stall is very popular with students and there is always a long queue. For just $3.50, you can get a filling and satisfying meal. I ordered rice with1 meat and 2 vegetables. I had the fried chicken, bean curd and vegetables. The chicken meat was tender and the rice topped with curry gravy was fragrant.

Wedges from Muslim food at south canteenI kinda miss the hot crispy and savoury potato wedges from South Canteen. So I went to school to have this as snack. These wedges are only $1 but they do fill my tummy rather well. The potato filling is slightly moist, flavourful, crispy and crumbles nicely into small bits into your mouth.

I am a big fan of the south canteen muslim stall in my school. The food is very affordable and tasty. I usually eat there about 3 times a week. I usually order, the sambal sausages, wedges which are very crispy and well fried, vege and chicken curry. To me, its the perfect combination as the food is really very delicious and the portion is very big.
