Signature Dishes
Looking at the display, I ordered plain rice with mutton rendang with lontong vegetables. With a meat and a vegetable dish each, I am charged $2.60. Sounds a bit more expensive than usual, could be due to the big piece of fried bean curd which the aunty served with the vegetable. The meat is very tender and flavourful, but the meat has a lot of veins on it. The vegetables is cooked till very soft.

Lot of people like to go North canteen to have their lunch, because the Western food there is nice and cheap.Suddenly craving for something it is spicy, so i ordered the muslim food.Rice+vege+chickenIt is quite cheap and huge in amount.I like muslim food because i like their black chilli.But this stall's chilli taste weird, i more prefer koufu oneThe rice for that day is also a bit hard, Make me cant digest well.Fortunately, the spiciness still can cover all the bad things.I can finish it as it is spicy.

Rice+vege+chickenIt is cheap and very filling. I like muslim food because i like their curry. The curry cabbage is very nice.And the eggplants also. Spicy..!! I like it..My friend scolds me. She said that dont always eat spicy food,so i order chicken wing. The chicken is quite nice,tender and flavourful.

I am a big fan of the north canteen muslim stall in my school. The food is very affordable and tasty. I usually eat there about 3 times a week. I usually order, the sambal sausages, wedges which are very crispy and well fried, vege and chicken curry. To me, its the perfect combination as the food is really very delicious and the portion is very big.

Mixed vege rice (3 types: fried green vege, fried sambal eggplant, tofu plus some curry gravy on the rice) $2Cheap and very filling. I doesnt wish to have meat for my lunch so i choose 3 veges. The taste is quite good, and most importantly: it is really cheap and very filling.
