Its interior was neat, plastered with articles from the media featuring some of the dishes and tubs of home made pastries like pineapple tart were for sale. While in the background, they were playing some soothing music from the 80s which make the environment so laid back on a Sunday morning.

Laksa can be of a perfect fight to Prima's laksa. The thick rice noodle was soaked well in the aromatic coconut flavoured soup, with Tak Pok, eggs, fishcake and hard boiled egg. When compared, perhaps the losing part is that this is not as thick as what we had from prima. For laksa with prawns, it can be ordered at additional cost.

Another local delight we had was Mee Rebus, featuring its rich sweet and spicy sauce and topped with cubes of bean curd cubes and egg.

Till now, I still remember how contented I was on a Sunday morning over this dish! The little cups of the Kueh Pie Tee was very crunchy filled with cut pieces of egg while the rest of the ingredients is up to us to fill in.

Let's experience the fun of filling up these cups!

It was a fun experience handling the Kueh Pie Tie and filling them up with the ideal amount of ingredients to one's taste.

The vegetables was boiled till soften, still retaining its moisture and juiciness within. The crispy crust of the cups together with such sweet tasting fillings was heavenly. The chilli was awesome! A perfect powerful spice to the entire cup. I still remember that the spice was so strong resulting in tears flowing down. So for those who dont take much spice, you may want to skip a little here.

I'm still very keen to find out how their Poh Piah taste like and I will be back soon, hopefully not on a Sunday.

I visit Coronation Plaza often and what ever I do, I must have the poh piah. The skin is nice and soft and the filling is so tasty and chili and sauce is just nice with crispy bits. Besides Poh Piah, they serve an outstanding laksa, the gravy is just nice, not too thick and the tau pok is yummy. This is way better than the normal laksa where the gravy can sometimes be too thin and runny or way to thick.

I went over to Coronation to have lunch to kill time. I wasn't hungry so I order 1 Popiah. The popiah is so nice. It is wrapped so properly. The ingredients are so well cooked. The egg was wonderful and soft, the sauce was welled spread and the vegetable was nice. It is so well arranged that when I eat it, nothing falls out, unlike Popiahs that I make myself. It is very tasty and it isn't salty. I think that it is quite healthy as they are all home-cooked and it is very salty. However, it was qu

But I think its worth it because it is just too nice. I wish I could eat it everyday, however I don't go there everyday. If only there was delivery, I would definitely get it everyday. It just tastes so good!

As we were here awaiting for my previous food order to process, where I sat was the board where basically is the menu of the shop. I actually took interest in other food but I was only given a certain time by my friend to just have a quick bite, so that only allowed me to have something simple which I ordered the yam paste. It came with coconut milk topping, the texture of the yam was not very smooth, lacked of oil but the taste was ok. Just simply yam and no gingko nut or pumpkin in it.

Was I wrong! I had one without the chilli to try the original taste and it was really good. They added sliced cucumber besides the usual ingredients and i could taste the crunch of the fried garlic. I was won over by it, thumbs up! Per piece

While waiting for my brother to finish school, my mother and I went to coronation to have a meal. Having eaten here a few times, we found the food quite nice and usually go there to have a meal. This cozy little corner is always packed with customers. Their popiah is very well-known. It's not uncommon to see every table holds a plate of popiah. Today, I ordered two popiah for my daughter and a plate of mee siam with prawn for myself. Normally, I wouldn't add the prawn because it cost an additional $0.70 for two little prawns. We didn't wait long for the dishes to be served. The additional prawn gave the mee siam a little more texture, complementing the crispy tau pok. Well cooked bean sprout with the sweet-sour sauce. Perfect combo.

$4.50 for a plate of Mee Siam with prawn.

i simply love the kueh pie tee at my cosy corner. I went to meet my friend there and we decided to order one to share as we were not really hungry. I love the crispy shell of the kueh pie tee. The juicy filling is indeed mouth watering. I don’t know how they managed to cook it until so tasty!!! Love the chili sauce and the sweet sauce too!

I happened to drive by coronation plaze with my girlfriend, I was feeling rather hungry so we decided to stop by my cozy corner for some light snack. My girlfriend ordered popiah for the two of us. I simply love the popiah from my cozy corner, the skin is very moist, not the dry dry hard hard kind. The filling is very juicy and tasty. I like their chilli and sweet sauce, enhance the flavour of the popiah!

I am very sorry that this picture of the Mee Siam was not able to fully justify it's presentation, as I took it after I had 'tempered' with it. (Too hungry and forgot to snap the photo first) Nevertheless, it should not affect your judgement that it is very tasty. Normally, I don't like the Tau Pok in Mee Siam, but this one was very special. It was very crispy, very nice, hard to describe except to taste it. It's priced at $3.80 per plate. Highly recommended.

I believe this Popiah is the signature dish, as most customers ordered it. It's taste was very special. It wasn't soggy, in fact it has something crispy inside, the overall blending of the fillings tasted perfect. The price might be on the high side for some, $2.20 each, but it was worth every cent of it.

This eatery has many other dishes. Next time I will surely try the laksa.
