My colleague brought me there for lunch during lunch time crowd. Although it was quite crowded, the waiting time was still alright. Their meatball is a must-try, really nice! Staffs are friendly as well, and my favourite drink is their ice-lemon tea, no idea if it is home-made, but is very nice! It is a must-try for all the Yong Tau Foo lover! Oh btw, their staffs are super powerful, there is no need to tell them where you are standing, ordering and serving staffs are different but they are sti

I think the only one stall of Yong tau Fu is selling fried meatball, first time trying. During lunch time the queue is super long. It take about 20 minute food to be serve. I ordered soup with broccoli, mushroom, fried meatball, meatball. The signature fried meatball is crispy and taste great! love it some much. But for the soup,is just normal for me. I think will come back for the fried meatball.

I can't explain how happy I am to find out that My Favourite Cafe is now open every Sunday as well! No more worries about the long queues on the usual weekdays! Perfect brunch place for a family on lazy Sundays! Do try out the fried meatballs and the stewed mushrooms!! Yong Tau Foo is best eaten dry with chili and sweet sauce drizzled all over! Complete your meal with the home-made barley or ice lemon tea (my personal favourite)

My friend introduced me to this yong tau foo place at Lucky Plaza, and oh my, I never looked back at other yong tau foo anymore. My Favourite Café is hidden at the top floor of Lucky Plaza next to Jollibee, and enjoys quite a fair share of patrons especially during lunch hours. You will need to queue for about 10 minutes before you get a space, but it sure is worth a wait. Look at how everyone is digging in like mad. Huge selection of things to put in your bowl: you can choose 5 items and one noodle type for only $3.50! I love the mushrooms - so huge and juicy and I can't get enough of it! I wanted to just grab like 3 mushrooms but that would be a little obsessive and a lack of variety. So.. I shall do that the next time ;D

After you finish choosing what you want, there are five noodle types that you can choose: mee, mee kia, mee pok, etc. Usually I just buy the mee pok

It's super nice. Trust me. When I'm looking at this picture, I can taste the godliness of this bowl of yong tau foo. Especially the juicy mushrooms and the meatballs. The more I look at this picture... the more I'm making plans to go grab this next week again.

There's the sauces provided but I don't really like/need them, so I just left it alone after trying a bit of each. The soup itself is flavourful enough, so I think there's no need for the extra sauces.

It might get a little squeezy because you have to share tables with strangers, but anyway you'll be busy stuffing yourself with the food to be uncomfortable with that!

Tip: Go in pairs to get a seat faster.

This is one place that I will crave once in a while to get some Yong Tau Foo around Orchard area. This is by far still one of the best Yong Tau Foo places that I know. There will be a long queue usually, however, the queue is pretty fast flowing. I particularly like the mushroom as well as the fried meatballs there. Will always pick this two selection other than my usual tofu and vegetables. As with all usual Yong Tau Foo, you get to choose if you want to have a choice of additional noodle of yo

As with all usual Yong Tau Foo, you get to choose if you want to have a choice of additional noodle of your choice or rice. What I like about this place is that the server will help you look for a seat even though it is crowded. The only cons is that the seats are pretty close to each other and pretty squeezing. It isn't much of a problem as usually I will leave after finishing my food. Will definitely recommend this place.

it was a pity that i did not get a photo taken. First impression of the place is SUPER long queue, fortunately the aunties tending the stall is efficiently quick. This is the kind of coffeeshop style place in air-conditioned mall where its only one stall owner. Auntie's memory is so good that you do not need to even tell them table number, despite the crowd, food is served within minutes. I had meepok dry and the yong tau foo pieces were put in a separate bowl of soup. Highly recommended is the meatball and mushroom, i had 2 each. I also ordered yam, which they served a decently big piece and other standard items like fried toufu and tau pok. I also like the chilli as its not too spicy and went well with the accompanying sweet sauce. Overall a good eat and it justify why long queues are formed during lunch time.
