This particular Hokkien Mee stall has been dishing out these noodles for many years and if you’re lucky, you might see the old uncle (the original hawker) frying up a piping hot plate of hokkien prawn mee for customers. There’s just something very comforting about eating a mix of beehoon and yellow noodles steeped in rich prawn stock, tossed with their fragrant sambal chili and freshly squeezed lime. I personally like my hokkien mee with more gravy and will always request a “wetter” version of noodles!

Their hokkien prawn mee are an outstanding piece of work, but it's a little oily than your usual hokkien mee. They use a mixture of yellow noodle and beehoon which provide a mixture of different noodle texture.
Their fire and time controlling behind the wok are impressive. It's being fried till the prawn aroma filled the whole kopitiam!

The noodles absorb the savoury chicken stock well and the taste was simply indescribable.
Try it and you know what I mean.

Waiting time is quite okay most of the time despite the roaring business.
Look no further if you are looking for one of the best fried hokkien mee in Singapore.
