As everywhere is crowded with queues, we decide to have dinner here. It is a halal restaurant which serves thai food. The place is crowded but we get a table rather quickly. The seats are quite near to each other and the place is a bit old and run down. The packets of wet tissues on table is chargeable at 0.30 each. Also have Phad Thai ($7.50) which is served with chopped nut, chilli flakes and lime. I am surprised to find long bean in this dish. The dish is a bit spicy on its own as there is chilli padi inside.

For vegetables, we have Kai Lan in Oyster Sauce ($12.00) which could a bit too salty for some as there is salt fish in it.

Since we are having thai food, we must have Tom Yam Soup ($10.00) which is served in a claypot. Full of chicken pieces. It tastes more sour than spicy. But we have a difficult getting the attention of the staff to get bowls to serve the soup individually.

Also have Fried Oyster Omelette ($8.00), which tastes a bit spicy but interesting.

For chicken, we have Pandan Leaf Chicken ($12.00). Unwrapping it, there is the juicy and flavourful chicken inside.

Was here with my friends to have a quick dinner when we spotted this little Thai restaurant tucked at a corner. Decided to give it a try as the place was packed with people and looked promising. We order a bowl of Tom yum soup to share and for myself and a plate of fried rice for myself. The Tom yum soup is spicy and full of ingredients. The boss is friendly and is full of smiles. Fried rice is $5 for a huge plate and it's really delicious! Great dinner!

The Thai Fish Cakes at Nana Thai is da bomb! I know it may not be the most difficult thing to make (especially if they get it out of the box) but the plate of fish cakes was hot, savoury and was super yummy paired with the sweet and spicy chilli, it was a combination of flavours in my mouth. Hot, spicy, sweet and salty. Order this as a starter if you are lunching or dining there. But be warned the place has a weird smell because I think it's quite old.

I ordered a few dishes to share among my friends and I and we thought that the food there is not bad. Among all, 2 of my favorite dishes are the Oyster Egg and Thai Fish Cake. The Oyster Egg (in Thai style I think) is cooked in a wetter way but it was very flavorful and the oyster is very fresh too. The Thai Fish Cake has this strong spices marination that I think one piece per person is definitely not enough! We also ordered a Tom Yum Soup which has clear broth but it was just okay only. The Th

There was a queue at New Station Snack Bar at 5th floor so we opted for this place instead. Moreover we needed a quieter place for a chat among colleagues. There were 8 of us, seating wise was good, the place wasn't noisy and you do not have hungry diners staring at you while you eat. Ordered the following: 2 pineapple fried rice at $13 each, steamed seabass for $30, salted egg prawn $36, shark's fin $26, mixed vege with seafood $16 and Omelette $16. When drinks were served, i've already suspected that its not a very authentic Thai food place. I ordered thai ice tea but what was served was more like the usual teh bing from coffeeshop. Food wise only the shark's fin and salted egg prawn was worth mentioning, the rest were average with the mixed vege and omelette a little disappointing. Total bill for 8 pax was $167, come here if you want a quiet place but for authentic thai food, you may want to pass on this.

Had my lunch at Nana Thai Restaurant located at Far East Plaza. Dried Fried Beef Kway Teow : The beef kway teow was quite oily. It was fried together with some beef, bean sprouts and chilli padi which makes it quite spicy. It was quite appealing with its smell but however, it was really too oily for me to finish the plate. Deep Fried Wanton - A dozen of deep fried wanton filled with meat and prawns. It was served together with sweet sauce . Tasted quite ok especially with the dark sweet sauce t

Just located in a corner of (forgotten 3rd or 4th level) in Far East Plaza, you will find this Traditional Thai Food Restaurant called Nana Thai Food (hope I remember the full name correctly). Service was okay and quite prompt even though the restaurant was quite packed due to lunch hour rush. The menu seems pretty appetising and was about to order myself a pineapple fried rice and tom yam soup (My personal favourite thai food) when I overheard from 3 different customers who were sitting quite close to me expressed their disappointment in the standards of the food (which so coincidentally the tom yam soup and pineapple fried rice that I was about to order).

After several minutes of deliberation, I decided to order a plate of seafood fried noodles and thai ice coffee instead to take any risk based on my initial selection haha. In any case, I wasn’t harbouring any high hopes after hearing the earlier feedbacks from other customers which I mentioned earlier. True enough, the fried noodles taste very very normal, no difference from any other zi char stalls and what made me feel even more disappointed is the thai ice coffee, way below par as compared to other thai restaurants I ever tried. Sigh…..

Went to Nana with colleagues during lunch yesterday. The place is OK and quite clean, and its relatively empty during lunch.Ordered the Beef kway teow, beef fried rice and a plate of fried wanton.Food is overall not bad, just that the drinks are quite expensive at $2.50 for a can drink or ice milo. Also, the ice milo taste like diluted milo and i expect better since its $2.50.

Decided to have Thai cuisine for lunch because I really love Tom Yum soup and spicy food. I ordered the tom yam seafood noodle soup and asked for extra chili! It was very very spicy! (look at the pieces of chili padi!!!) I kind of suffered while eating it however, it was really shiok! hahah. Love the spicy soup! There were quite a few pieces of chicken and the soup was flavourful despite it being a little too spicy. Will definitely go back for more! (but no extra chili the next time)

Stir Fried Kai Lan with Beef..
we finished it w/o any hesitation!

a highly recommended dish here!
the beef is not too hard, very tender and fresh,
it's being stir fried in garlic & oyster sauce..
