Nasi Padang.... one local dish that i could just eat without getting sick of it but... it has to be a of a certain standard and this place is up to standard...There was once i headed over to this place upon not finding anywhere else to dine..I headed over here for some malay cuisine...The order: Asam Pedas fish with Bagedel and 1 fried egg with rice and lots of sambal belachan. The taste... simply divine... quite delicious.... the curry was a little bit tangy.... a bit spicy and the service was fast too.. continue reading

I ordered the briyani from the food court at bugis junction. The portion was reasonable for the price I paid. The chicken was not really big but reasonable size. The curry that it was cooked in was really tasty. it was not spicy at all. The briyani rice was not dry at all, I dun like too dry rice as it makes you thirsty and it is very hard to swallow. They gave a portion of achar. Their achar was sweetish, sourish. Very crunchy. It was really good. continue reading

i ordered the nasi briyani from the muslim stall. The portion was pretty large, it came with one large piece of chicken, one portion of achar and some koropok. The chicken was really nice, cooked well in the curry sauce. The meat is tender and juicy. I was surprised by the size of the chicken they give. The rice was very fragrant, it was made up of three different colour. Very nice looking. The achar was very crunchy, it was a little sour as well. the koropok is very crispy. continue reading

This stall sells many different types of food from beriyani to BBQ items to mee siam to nasi padang a-la-carte items. The rice use for nasi beriyani is those long grains and cooked till coloured in yellow and spots of orange. The nasi padang rice is bright green in colour and i think it's too bright that looks like itsbeing coloured green and not the natural pandan green.Had the mee siam at $3.50 per bowl and i like the colour of the mee siam and the gravy also taste nice with just the right amount of assam juice. continue reading
