A newly opened outlet at Cineleisure Orchard. At first look, I can only see the big sign showing $1.50 for a plate of sushi. Wow another Japanese rotating sushi place selling cheap sushi. I will come back another day for that. Today I am heading for its takeaway counter to redeem coupons that I have bought online. From what I know from online, the outlet also have home delivery service. I notice on there is produce date and time, as well as, expiry date and time on all the boxes. Which is good, so one can know how long the food has lying on the counters. There is a microwave oven available for those wish heat up the food.California Hand Roll (usual : $2.20/ pc)But due to new outlet's opening promotion at Qoo10, it is $1.99 for 2 pieces. Isn't it cheaper than 1 for 1? Remember to remove the plastic sheet from the seaweed before eating. Has a bit of problem removing the plastic sheet. The roll tastes quite nice.Assorted 6-pieces sushi (usual : $4.50)But I too got it for $1.99 at Qoo10. Another great deal. The sushi are not bad, except for the Tamago Maki (egg roll) which is very dry, especially for the rice.Chicken with Baked Potatoes (usual : $3.90)For this dish, it comes with a can of drink. Remember to heat it up as it is rather cold.Overall food is not bad for the price I am paying. Staffs at the outlet do not seem to be notified of the online promotion, so they need a bit of time to check out. continue reading
