Our all-time favourite japanese restaurant place for sushi, we order their chuwanmushi, spicy spider sushi, age tofu, fotomaki, egg sushi, dumplings, not forgetting my favourite hotate sushi. The standard is consistent in this restaurant, their sushi always taste so fresh and nice, we love their chuwanmushi so much as it is very freshly steamed, tofu and dumplings also freshly made. Their sushi always taste so nice and creative with new favours. Thumbs up for this restaurant at heartlands. continue reading

Having been staying at Punggol for many years, this not very high end Jap restaurant is the ONLY jap restaurant available so it is always crowded despite food isn't extremely fantastic. However, that being said, this place has priced their food according and it is pretty economical to dine there once in a while.I bought some Bacon & egg mayo rolls, Soft shell crab wrap and Chicken karaage for dinner. These 3 items has been my fave dishes here. The bacon bits were fried till very crispy and pairs well with the creamy egg mayo. The soft shell crab wrap was freshly made upon order so it is very crispy as well and last but not least, the chicken karaage was crunchy and juicy. Overall it's a nice dinner. continue reading

used to eat nihon mura at ang mo kio, but it was closed. went to cini it was also closed and become smaller outlet. so the nearest to me was punggol plaza. still remember used to eat it every month never fail because of it's cheap price. last time used to be 0.99 per plate, but now increased. ordered cha shao raman and all time favourite chawamushi. the raman soup is very nice thou it's oily. the chawamushi is cheap and taste good too! overall worth the price. continue reading
