The restaurant is located at the level seven of Orchard Central shopping mall. The casual restaurant is decorated in funky modern chinese style, with bright red and black colored metal chairs around. The restaurant serves Northern Chinese cuisine.Noodles Value Meal Set C ($12.80++) which has'Biang Biang' Noodle 彪彪面 (ala carte $10.80++),'Wanton' with Black Vinegar and Chilli Oil 红油抄手,Lemongrass Jelly with Fruits 青檸香茅冻 ( ala carte $4.50++),Herbal Tea or Soya Bean Milk 凊热凉茶或豆奶'Biang Biang' Noodle is a type of noodle popular in China's Shaanxi province. The noodles, touted as one of the "ten strange wonders of Shaanxi", is described as being like a belt, owing to their thickness and length. The noodle has handmade noodle texture but comes in a single long piece, unlike the usual handmade noodle which is tore into many pieces. The noodle texture is also very QQ. The minced meat sauce is served separate where one can adjust the amount to go with the noodle. The dessert tastes light and refreshing, with a hint of lemongrass. Overall such a filling meal at this price in a restaurant in orchard area. A great deal to enjoy!Mee Suan with Superior Ginseng Chicken Broth 参鸡沕面线 ($11.80++)The broth tastes light but flavourful. The chicken is very tender. The most unique part is the mee suan which is different from the usual kind found in Singapore. It has a texture similar to angel hair pasta.Deep-fried Silver Bait with Seven Spices 奇味白饭鱼 ($7.80++)Light and crispy with a hint of thai style flavours in it. Would be better if it is freshly made.Red Bean Pancake 豆沙锅饼 ($6.00++)While it looks like the usual crispy pancake filled with red bean paste, the crispy skin has a Mochi chewy texture.Overall the food is great and value for money. The service is also great too. I have the little one with me, which the staffs treat him quite well.
