The Coffee Club revamped their menu earlier this year and now offers a bigger selection of light bites and finger foods like sandwiches, pies and pizzas. The triple decker club sandwiches come with a choice of foccocia or ciabatta bread and either fries or potato wedges. Besides the usual cheese, egg, bacon, lettuce and tomatoes, diners can pick from different combos of additional toppings such as chicken tikka with chutney, smoked salmon with roast chicken etc. The portion can be shared among two persons for a snack. We picked the Luscious Club Sandwich which was lip-smackingly good. The chicken tikka, crispy bacon and sunny side up egg layered beteeen freshly toasted thin slices of foccocia was a delightful contrast of textures. Next time, we'll revert to picking fries for our side instead of the cajun spiced wedges. Fries are served in a glass and the quantity is sufficient for sharing as compared to the few miserable pieces of potato wedges. continue reading

I love visiting The Central @ Clarke Quay especially during some weekend night to slack for a cup of good coffee and dessert. The scenery outside which overlook the Singapore river is fantastic. I had the muddy mud pie for dessert as it has always been my favorite. It is not very sweet, infact I think the sweetness is perfect. The mud pie is moist and not dry. At $12.80, the portion is acceptable. continue reading

This is my 1st time walking into coffee club having dinner. I always thought coffee club only serve coffee and dessert, but i was wrong. Juz by looking at the menu make me drool! Highly recommended! A muz try for all. Ice are finely blended, every sip is full of rambutan taste. Wonder how come its pink rambutan and not white rambutan?!Initially i though its breaded fish with herbs but it was serve with a layer of special sauce at the bottom. A great combi for fried fish as it wont be too dry. The sauce taste great, a bit of fruity lemon, honey mustard. Thumbs up!!! Strongly recommended by my fren Adeline. The crayfish pasta is great! We requested for mild spicy and despite being spicy, it did not cover the sweet freshness of the crayfish! continue reading

Coffee club again! After work and before chill out, it is best to grab some coffee to keep myself awake! Had hazelnut mocha. Compared to latte, this is not too sweet with a tad of coffee fragrance in it. Love the cookie which came alongside with it. It is served without a spoon instead with a cinnamon stick. Stir it! I didn't like the taste of cinnamon in it though. continue reading
