Holland Village is not too far from my school and I wanted to have a coffee break here before going home! It was a really hot day and I decided on ordering an iced drink. Strawberry Vanilla Millefeuille ($8.50)
Fresh strawberries, caramel ice-cream, vanilla parfait, and hazelnut feuilletine.
The strawberries are big pieces but the best thing which I like about this is the crispy feuilletine.

Avocado Honey ($7)
A delightful blend of avocado and honey filled with natural goodness.
Thick and creamy.

Spring Blossom Tea ($6.80)
Special in-house Chrysanthemum tea-based creation, which showcase lush, floral notes with every sip. Perfect for combating “heatiness” resulting from over-indulgence during Chinese New Year.
Very light in taste.

As for me, I decided to try the Piri Piri Chicken. The pasta was slightly hard but was drenched evenly in neapolitan sauce
(from the descriptions, but it was just chunky tomato sauce to me). It smells good when it was first place on the table
right under my nose. The chicken tights were fragrant and tender with juices/oil. I removed the skin as I did not want to
have fatty intakes and also to be healthier! (Alright healthier....not)

I decided to get a cup of iced coffee from Coffee Club to help with my studying. It was plain horrible. Perhaps there was no sugar added into the drink because it tasted bitter and hard to swallow. I had to add generous amounts of syrup before it was even drinkable. 4/10Not recommended at all.

Went with a group of friends for gathering. Personally, I like to hang out at Holland village, good hangout place for people whom study at SIM. After school, we will travel there by bus for dinner or lunch. Examination are over, here we comes to Coffee Club. I ordered this meatcake penne. Yummy, it looks nice. Another friend of mine ordered this grilled fish. It is such a cozy little 2 stories shophouses located at the corner of Holland Village, nevertheless, it will be full house during weekend

Went to Coffee Club at Holland Village a couple of times before and their services were quite good. I ordered their Fish and Chips. Personally I prefer buttered than breaded, so their Fish and Chip is just nice for me. I also ordered their Mocha Ice Blended, however, I still prefer Starbucks. Overall, Food ok but a great hang-out place for small gathering.

Well, they call themselves the Coffee Club, but as deceiving as the name may be, it is not exactly a coffee shop that you would expect, serving coffee and pastries like the rest of the commercial coffee chain stores. Instead, this franchise is more like a restaurant, with a menu with a variety of main dishes so I will be reviewing some food that I have tried here.

First of all, I tried the coffee ribs, which was disappointing. I thought it was a rather intuitive thing to try since it is a rather unique dish, and given its self proclaimed coffee-related name, I would expect something more from it. The meat itself is ok, rather tender, and the portion and sides are fine. But the biggest problem I felt was that the taste of the coffee did not blend in with the taste of the meat, and to make it worse, it didn't match the taste as well. In other words, on the outer layer, you can taste some weird combination of pork and coffee, while on the inner layer, you can have some tender but tasteless pork. Two words for you, not recommended.

The grilled fish with salmon mousse though, was a rather surprising dish. It is actually a fillet of fish grilled, but placed on salmon mousse, so it is wet and not dry like most grilled fish you will find elsewhere. The gravy is slightly sour, with lots of tomatoes in it.

Finally, the honey glazed chicken is not very sweet as the name suggest, but because of the presence of lime, it has a sweet and sour twist in your mouth. Unfortunately, the portion is too small and I cant seem to derive enough utility from that one small portion of it. So as good as it is, I would not order it again as it is not filling enough for me.

While the rest of Holland Village was abuzz with the lunch time crowd, the Coffee Club ,which is tucked at the further end of the rest of the eateries, offered a welcome peace and quiet. The shellfish soup and salad I ordered was good (although I wished that they could have been served faster)

Coffee Club is a chain western cafe selling mainly desserts and coffee. An ideal spot for friends to catch up or couples to just chill out on a weekend. They do sell proper food too, like sandwiches and soups. I haven't got to try them yet though, only the cakes. Sadly, I can't remember the actual name but I got myself a pretty-looking cherry/chocolate dessert. it was chocolate mousse with vanilla ice-cream in a circular block, garnished with a large piece of chocolate in a flower form and cherries surround it.

It was good as it didn't melt too quick and it wasn't too sweet either. The flower chocolate(I call it), was a pretty waste of chocolate though as I simply couldn't eat the whole large piece to myself but sure enough, it was really lovely to look at. Good staff service here.
