I totally love the setting of this place! It makes me feel like I'm in a little cosy restaurant hidden in an alley in Japan. The interior is mostly wooden, and the lights are dimmed. Behind my seat, there was a hook and hanger, for businessmen to remove and hang their suits so as to comfortably tuck into their meals, just like the Japan way. Our first visit here and already fell in love with the simple ambience and reminded us some of the small authetic eateries in Japan itself. Best of all, we spotted many Japanese dining here and the atmosphere were certainly different and didn't think we were in Singapore. We asked for recommendations and they showed us couple of the a la carte dishes and I went for the a ramen with pork base soup and came along with a bowl of seasonal rice and some small side dishes which were nice.
