Old chang kee is the default place to go to if you want to grab curry puffs for an afternoon snack. The curry puffs here are affordable at $1.40 per piece and make for a great snack! These have a very thick crust with a generous filling comprising curried potato pieces. Although fried, they are not greasy at all, and the pastry goes really well with the savory filling. continue reading

The curry puff's are so tasty and big, worthwhile for tea-time. The aromatic and delectably moist curried potato filling boasts the perfect balance of spices, and is studded with a generous chunk of chicken and wedge of hard boiled egg. Best eaten fresh and piping hot from the stall, Old Chang Kee curry puffs somehow manages to remain tasty and crispy even when eaten cold. continue reading

It is my first time getting fish balls from Old Chang Kee, it costs about $1+. When i bought it, the fish-balls are still warm and definitely fill up my stomach that is looking for small snacks after lunch. The fishball is bouncy and does not taste any oil taste because i expect there will be some oil taste left on the exterior because of their deep-frying method. It was great! continue reading

Crispy on the outside, Old Chang Kee shows how a good curry puff taste like. The curry is not too spicy with slices of potatoes and a quarter of a boiled egg stuff inside. The curry puff is fried well and is not too burnt or oily. This curry puff is perfect of a daytime snack. Old CHang Kee also sells other fried snacks ranging from yam cake to fish balls to cheese sausages. Still, its most popular snack is still customers' old time favourite- curry puffs continue reading
