Old chang kee is the default place to go to if you want to grab curry puffs for an afternoon snack. The curry puffs here are affordable at $1.40 per piece and make for a great snack! These have a very thick crust with a generous filling comprising curried potato pieces. Although fried, they are not greasy at all, and the pastry goes really well with the savory filling.

The curry puff's are so tasty and big, worthwhile for tea-time. The aromatic and delectably moist curried potato filling boasts the perfect balance of spices, and is studded with a generous chunk of chicken and wedge of hard boiled egg. Best eaten fresh and piping hot from the stall, Old Chang Kee curry puffs somehow manages to remain tasty and crispy even when eaten cold.

It is my first time getting fish balls from Old Chang Kee, it costs about $1+. When i bought it, the fish-balls are still warm and definitely fill up my stomach that is looking for small snacks after lunch. The fishball is bouncy and does not taste any oil taste because i expect there will be some oil taste left on the exterior because of their deep-frying method. It was great!

So my favourite dish in old chang kee is these delicious curry puffs. Though I had a wonderful dinner at pepper lunch but still I think that buying a few of these curry puffs home and give it to my mom would be more than appreciation from her. I know she loves to eat it :} Well The puff is hot and it smells wonderful. By just smell it already made you want to skip meal for these wonderful puffs! I thumb up for these!

Inside contains pineapple and it is called Pineapple Pie. It cost about $1+ which is the average price that are selling outside. But i find this pineapple pie from Ang Mo Kio Outlet a little dissapointing because it isn't really warm like what i have expected. Thus the crust isn't crispy and the feeling inside isn't hot and shiok as i thought it will be. Therefore would not buy from Old Chang Kee their pies, but other finger food instead.

Crispy on the outside, Old Chang Kee shows how a good curry puff taste like. The curry is not too spicy with slices of potatoes and a quarter of a boiled egg stuff inside. The curry puff is fried well and is not too burnt or oily. This curry puff is perfect of a daytime snack. Old CHang Kee also sells other fried snacks ranging from yam cake to fish balls to cheese sausages. Still, its most popular snack is still customers' old time favourite- curry puffs

Eventhough there are very wide range of deep fried items that can be found at all the Old Chang Kee stalls, I would still prefer to have their signature all time flavourite curry puff. The crust outside is thick and crispy. The curry filling in it are also very generous. Lots of diced chicken meat, diced potatoes are well cooked in their signature secret recipe curry sauce. At only one dollar and thirty cents per piece, it is definitely worth the amount and the best part is all foods selling

nasi lemak ($1.8)Bought a nasi lemak rice set from Old Chang kee before went to school. Makan time! The nasi lemak is just normal, Got a small thin slice of omelette, two pieces of fish cake and anchovies and kachang! The chillies sauce is those that can be found at any malay stall. Anyway the rice is fragrant and has coconut flavour.

I guess everyone has heard of old chang kee before. Their taro pie is fantastic! ( i love yam! ) their curry puff is next in the line. However, their sotong ball is a little disappointing. It’s hard and not juicy at all. Those you get from ntuc is much better. Their chicken wing is very oily too. well, their standard differs from stalls. So it’s good to try.

Alright, after seeing my friend. I went to old chang kee AMK hub to purchase this chicken wing. This chicken wing cost $1.60. I would not say this is the best as compare to those nasi lemak one. I prefer the nasi lemak kind of chicken wing. This chicken wing has a unique taste that i think the chicken wing in being marinate before deep frying. Overall, i would say the chicken is not bad but still prefer the nasi lemak kind of chicken wing for its taste and crispiness.

was craving for some nuggets so gotten the prawn nugget from old chang kee. the nugget was average, i could hardly taste the prawn inside but it was still not too bad and i could see some small bits of prawn meat. but i think their fish nugget was better, it does not taste as dry as the prawn nugget and has a sweet, fish taste.

Old Chang Kee is another awesome place that is perfect for a quick bite as you are rushing from places to places! It sells a wide variety of food that leaves you contemplating which to get. However, I try to go easy on it as it is quite heaty considering we live in such a warm and humid country. Nevertheless, I absolutely love their curry puff! One of the best I’ve tried before!

photos above is my favourite 'yam feel'in' from old chang kee. I always cannot resist from buying this from old change kee. the yam filling is really fantastic and make the puff so delicious. i had strongly recommended this 'yam feeling' to my friends and family. it is only cost $1.20 which i think worth very well. but be careful when you bite this puff, because the filling is always hot and full. that is also why this food item is so nice! Love it very very much!!! everyone should try this! and
