this is what i usually have for breakfast. It's crispy. It has a mild, nice smell of pastry. It has soft curry potatoes fillings, and I saw from other reviews, there are pieces of chicken meat, but I don't remember there's some meat in it when I gulped down the puff. Besides, it also has a small piece of hard-boiled egg in it, which the egg seems a little over-cooked. Having the piece of egg in curry puff is usually not so normal in the ordinary "road-side stalls". But with the cost of living getting higher and higher (but not the salary), the size of curry puffs seems to shrink quite a lot.

It costs sgd1.30 per curry puff, Mind you, this curry puff is best eaten when it's still hot/warm. If it is left to cool, it's not crispy anymore.

This curry puff's curry smell is not so strong and not so spicy. Suitable for children to eat too. The outer layer is quite crispy when you eat it hot. However, this puff is quite oily so I suggest to use tissue to absorb the oil. The egg is quite big piece. You can see and taste it solid.

Old Chang Kee's pineapple pie can be comparable to Mcdonald's apple pie. The pineapple fillings in the pie is not too sweet as compared to Mcdonald's apple pie which can be quite sweet.Have a quick bite for those who are wants to try something sweet at Old Chang Kee instead of the normal fried stuff like sotong balls etc.

As we passed by OLD CHANG KEE after some grocery shopping, we decided to buy a curry puff while waiting for the car to arrive. It was warm and crispy and I especially loved the thick crust and curry potatoes inside. Very unhealthy though, cause it is deep fried and I could expect getting pimples the next day. Nevertheless, Old Chang Kee is an old favorite so I don't mind having it once in a blue moon.

Curry puff has been Old chang kee's signature item. The curry puff here is definitely my all time favourite.Although price has slightly increased from $1 to $1.10 to now $1.20, it is still value for money as the curry puff is big, although the crust is quite thick,it is surprisingly crispy, the inner fillings is also big propotion.I enjoy eating the mild spicy addictive curry inner fillings with big pieces of potato, chicken and egg.

I love Old Chang Kee! I love the curry puff which is called Curry'O especially and it only costs $1.30! A big bargain for a curry puff that has about half an egg and has strong aroma of potato and thick curry gravy inside as well as a huge chunk of chicken inside! It was really enjoyable eating the curry puff! Best of all, there is the very crispy skin that is indeed fabulous and delicious!
