Old Chang Kee is a good place to go for finger food. Although the queue that forms at the JP outlet can get considerably long especially in the morning and after work.I usually buy the sardine puff then their signature curry puff because i think the sardine one contains more omph.Though i have to say the puff seems to have decreased in size or its just naturally thinner compared to its sibling. continue reading

National day promotion! 4 sticks of old chang kee food for $4.80 ( one of it was not in the picture) from the coupon in the national day booklet. 2 fried sotong and 2 fried meat balls. I really like the fried food from Old chang kee. Their food are always fresh and lesser oil compare to other store. The meat ball I ordered was juicy and the sotong was very chewy although it is hard to separate them into pieces. However, too much fried food is bad for health. Hence, I don't usually eat it! continue reading

Before heading home today, i got hungry on my route and decide to source for some finger food to eat on the way! I spied the Old Chang Kee stall and quickly went to queue before there was more people! Queue was not too long and service was quite fast (usually i try to avoid if there's too many people!) I got my favourite prawn nuggets and decide to try something new so i got some sotong balls As usual i love my crispy and tasty prawn nuggets As for the sotong balls, I find it not too bad!Very crunchy bouncy feeling.. wonder if it will really bounce if i drop it onto the floor...LOL Overall, worthy for a try of some Old Chang Kee goodness on a weekday continue reading

Snack time is always fun and filling with the delicious snacks you can find at Old Chang Kee. Just as I was heading home after my shopping at Jurong Point, I decided to pick up a couple of snacks for the kids. So I went to Old Chang Kee and picked up fish balls on a stick and a couple of Sardine puffs. When I got home the kids were really happy to see I had bought them each their favorite snacks and they happily began eating them. The fish balls were nice and fresh and very chewy and delicious. And the Sardine puffs were hot and crispy and very delicious to eat.Sardine Puff : $1.40 x 2Fish Ball : $1.40 Although, the snacks have gone up by 0.10 cents they will still remain one of our favorite and will continue eating and relishing them continue reading
