Get to know this old pungol nasi lemak place near paya lebar / katong area from my friend. She introduces this to us claiming that it is better than the one at kovan. And I agreed with her! The food here tastes nicer and also it is warmer than the one at kovan. Also, it does not have long queueand waiting time.I'm the one who ordered 4 ingredients namely French beans, ikan bilis, otah and chicken wing (bottom plate of the picture shown). was surprised that the nasi lemak was actually very good! the coconut rice was perfect! long grains and not broken, not sticky, not sickening like at other places. very fragrant and definitely very fresh! my baby usually does not eat coconut rice but she ate this one. the achar was very very good too. and the vegetables was so fragrant. the deep fried fish was dubious as there was too many bones. the deep fried egg was great. rather pricey overall, but otherwise it was one of the best nasi lemak

Their large variety of dishes are always freshly cooked. Their fried chicken wings, quite crispy and juicy. It quite unique spice that they use to marinate the chicken, which makes it different from others. Their rice was pretty fragrant and not sticking with the others. Their chili was good. Very fragrant and not overly spicy. Overall, the food was average and slightly over priced.
