Went to Old Town White Coffee for breakfast last weekend. We ordered this kaya & butter toast. Well, by looking at the menu picture it shown. The slice of butter looked so thick and fulfilling. We wrote a feedback form regarding this. Hopefully Old Town will do something about it. Anyway, the eating experience in Old Town was still a good one despite this small little hiccup.

The kaya butter toast is one of Old Town's signature dish. There's a layer of butter and kaya in between the toasts. The butter is normally served cold and has a sweet taste. Although they give a pretty thick layer of butter, it does not have the oily feeling that most butter have. The kaya is also sweet and also complements the butter. Neither the taste of the kaya or the butter overpower either taste therefore it delivers a very unique taste. Looking for toast or something to eat for breakfast

This Kaya Butter Toast is Old Town's signature dish as well as my favourite toast. As the name suggests, its toast with kaya and butter. However, the butter is not just any ordinary butter. Its not too oily at all and its sweet. And normally, the toast is hot with cold butter in it. The combination of the toast, butter and kaya delivers a unique taste that only Old Town has to offer. At a low price of $1.20, you can purchase a single toast which consists of 2 toasts or a double toast at $2.20 (a

Every time I am at Old Town I'll see this drink in the menu and will be tempted to try it because I have never seen it anywhere else! Its a red bean float! I didn't know what taste I was expecting but when I drank it, it was disappointing. It was just like drinking mashed red beans priced at $5.50. To be fair, its exactly what the name says, a red bean freeze. Although I didn't like it, a friend who was sharing with me liked it a lot because she loves red bean so I would recommend this drink to

The Hainanese Chicken Rice is one of my favourite dishes on Old Town's menu. The chicken is huge and tender. Also, you can easily cut into the shreds of chicken. The chicken is fried then topped off with some kind of sweet sauce. The only downside to the dish is the egg. The egg is always over fried and has way too much oil. Overall, it has a relatively big portion and even though it is pretty expensive for a plate of chicken rice, it is worth the money!

I've a regular drinker of Old Town's Hazelnut coffee and this time I decided to give their regular white coffee a try. Personally, I prefer the hazelnut coffee over this. However, like all other flavours of Old Town's coffee, it was acceptable and has a nice coffee smell to complement their toast. I’d recommend it to a friend who likes regular white coffee or anyone who is trying to find out what’s their favourite coffee flavour. It can be delicious depending on one’s preference when it comes to

The nasi lemak contains of common nasi lemak ingredients and the chilli is one of the highlights of the dish. The chilli has the just-right spiciness and taste that I like. The chicken wing was very crispy and not too dry. The nasi lemak also comes with the yellow coloured biscuit (I'm not too sure what its called) which I was told is an Indian snack. It was delicious and not too oily. Overall, the nasi lemak was acceptable but worth it for its price. I can't remember the price accurately but it

Normally, I'd order for rice or bread at old town, but this time round, I decided to give the noodles a try! It definitely wasn't a bad decision. The egg noodles were delicious and did not give off the "kee" smell (a bad smell that's often associated with noodles). Although it looks like pork cha siu, its actually chicken. And like other chicken dished by Old Town, the chicken was tender. Its pretty sweet because of the sauce but not too sweet. The noodles comes with a bowl of fried wanton soup.

The noodles comes with a bowl of fried wanton soup. The wanton was of average quality while the soup had a unique taste. I couldn't figure out how was used to prepare the soup but it was tasty. Unfortunately, the serving of the soup is too small.

Overall, it was a great dining experience. However, I'd always remind people to bring their own water bottles when going to Old Town. They will charge $0.50 for plain water which is totally not worth it.

THis Old Town White Coffee is actually opened by the Channel 8 celebrity: Mark Lee. The quality of their coffee is nice and good! Not only their beverages are nice, they also sell a few choices of asian cruisines too. Tried their nasi lamak set, the chicken wing is very tasty and crispy. Love their special made chilli sauce as there are fried ikan billis in it too. Would be good if the portion can be slightly more. My verdict: 7/10

I visited the Old Town White Coffee at Jurong Point where I picked Rendang Chicken. It was very fragrant, though in terms of presentation, it was average (almost market like). I wonder if the taste is authentic to malaysia, but it's definitely just nice for me. I also really like the ice old town white coffee. It's goes down perfectly after something spicy. I could do with two in fact ! The only thing I don't really like it's the stools since I was sitting at the central area. Nothing to lean ag

Gotto choose the side seats next time.

This shop serves generally smooth coffee. If you are sick of coffee drunk at outside coffee shops, do try out Old town Coffee for a change. I wouldn't say the noodles are specially tasty, but here is a good place to eat if you could not find a seat at nearby foodcourts during lunch or dinner hours. As about $4 to $6 price per bowl, it is more pricy than foodcourt price but for the ambience, this is the extra price you pay.

i like to go there during a hot afternoon for a coffee & just laze around...

i love the smoothie at old town. tried both the blueberry and orange. both were very creamy and thick. one sip and u will keep wanting more.

i have tried many of their food also. here is my verdict of the food i tried:
- Assam Laksa: best thing to order when u are dying of hunger, apparently everytime i order this, it was served very fast! the minced fish and the sour pineapple soup tasted really nice. the noodle are very QQ, does not stick to the teeth. however, portion wise, a little small, not really filling enough.

- Nasi Lemak (Normal): the rice is very fragrant, love the sambal chilli, sweet and spicy at the same time, got onions inside too. the chicken is rather small piece, not very worth it.

- Rendang nasi lemak: the rendang is really good, but the chicken is very small, u just cant get enuf of it. portion wise, also very small.

ideal place for pple with small appetite...
