We decided to head to City Square Mall to try out the Pancakes, as we heard from our friends that the serving portion is huge and it's also delicious. The interior of the restaurant was nicely decorated. But sadly I did not get a chance to take some photos of it as it was quite packed and I think my photos won't look nice with the people's head appearing in the restaurant interior photo. So I only settled for a shot of the restaurant entrance. We ordered 2 items and 2 drinks. We had Iced Cappucci

We ordered 2 items and 2 drinks. We had Iced Cappuccino which cost $6 and Latte which cost $5.

Here's a photo of the Iced Cappuccino, which I found the portion to be quite huge.

I think that the Iced Cappuccino was average only. In fact, I preferred those from Starbucks or Coffeebean more. Haha...

A pity I forgot to take a shot of the Latte but I found the portion to be rather small. But the Latte coffee smell was strong and aromatic. If the portion is more, I would find it more worthwhile.

We ordered Honolulu which cost $11 and Ori Banana SS which cost $10.

We found the Honolulu dish disappointing as it tasted like the chef hastily prepared this dish without putting much thought into it. We felt this dish lacks sincerity. Firstly the thin crust is supposed to be crispy, according to the waiter. But when this dish was served, not only was it cold, it was also soft. We suspected maybe the dish was left out in the open for a short duration and hence it was no longer crispy. Also the tomato sauce and the other ingredients like the sliced ham, cheese, pineapple slices etc tasted bland. We also felt that the other ingredients were haphazardly scattered over the crust, especially the cheese. The cheese portion was not evenly spread out over the entire crust, unlike what we saw in the menu and what we usually eat at other restaurants. If you see the picture closely, you will realized that it's located all on the left side. On a scale of 1 to 10 with 1 as mediocre and 10 as very yummy, we rated this dish with a rating of 1 only.

Next up was the Ori Banana SS.

Ori Banana SS was another disappointing dish, with a below average taste pancake, bland vanilla ice-cream on top of the pancake and a few slices of bananas and I believe they sprinkled sour plum powder over this dish, we only give this Ori Banana SS a rating of 3.

Overall, we felt that our dining experience at Paddington House of Pancakes was disappointing, due to the Ori Banana SS and the Honolulu dish that tasted so mediocre. Total spending was $37.66 and here's our receipt.
