The food here does not disappoint me! Tried the coloured xiao long bao’s and they were just awesome and unique! They were steamed just nice because the skin was not too hard nor too soft and they were really juicy too. Different colours represent different flavours so you can try it. The service crew were efficient in taking orders and serving the food.

Steam chicken with mushroom & black fungus $10.90++
This is a new item on the menu. Chicken meat is steamed not fried, tasted cleaner and sweeter and a lot more tender. The chicken broth is very flavorful as well...slurp.

Fried sambal kang kong $8.90++
This is rather ordinary, the sambal is not too spicy..doesn't have much 'kick' for this dish.

Crisp-Fried Crystal Prawns with Salted Egg Yolk

My all-time favourite in paradise's group restaurant. The proportion of the egg yolk is just right when fried with the prawn, such that both compliment each other and result in taste explosion!

Seafood Fried Rice

The usual seafood fried rice, but the fragrance is overwhelming and irresistible!

Crispy Toufu with special sauce

I like the combination of a crispy Toufu being immersed in a special sauce such that fits so perfectly on my tastebuds when eaten together with the Tofu.

AMBIENCE
It is quite busy and noisy on a Friday evening. Be there early if you want to avoid the queue or choose your seats.

SERVICE
They are generally quite efficient and good.

Other than the super delish horfun that I shared before, I also liked their fried rice. The first time I ordered this horfun dish I was thinking the $12.90++ price tag is hefty. But after slurping the smooth and slightly burnt goodness (lotsa wok hei) accompanied with huge and juicy fresh prawns, I have been ordering this on every other visit. Their other dishes are mostly tse char style Singaporean dishes at a higher price tag. In general most tasted ok so far...no complains.More pics at..http://midas400.blogspot.sg/2013/04/yum-yum-takeaways-from-paradise-group.html

Despite the crowd on a sunday night, Paradise Inn still manages to serve good food with acceptable service. Recommended dishes: Coffee pork ribsCereal prawnsWasabi mayo prawnsDefinitely try their flower teas, I usually go for the detox one with lavender/rose. Its great to wash down a delicious meal. Haven't tried their desserts before, but I usually go next door for them. Great for family gatherings, especially because its a chinese cuisine.

We queue for quite a long time that day. We had ordered the Sweet and sour chicken, a veggie and black sauce pork (really forgot the name ad..).

The dishes tasted nice, the ingredient were fresh. The saltiness was just nice also.

Will definitely visit the shop again.

Food quality is below average compared to Taste Paradise.   We have 4 dishes and 1 fried rice.  Nothing impressive for me to write about. There no ppl queuing yet no one came to us for more than 5 mins. So we walk to a table in the restaurant ourselves. Then ordered ice milk tea which taste like coffeshop standard. Realised forgot to order almond paste dessert. Shrimp paste chicken is quite alright except that some pieces has a rather strong "frozen" taste.

We had a few take away food as we are rushing for time. I ordered their braised pork bun. It was well marinated and delicious. The bun is smooth and the meat is really soft and fragrant. I also ordered a bowl of mango sago. I didn't like the dessert at all. It was a little too sour and i can't taste the sago as well as mango. Felt kinda chheated? I didn't manage to finish it at all!

We were rushing for time, thus we packet some food back from Paradise Inn. The waiting time is really fast! I had braised pork with buns and yam paste. The braised pork is really delicious and fragrant. It is soft and tender. Not too salty, tasted just right! The yam paste however was a little disappointing. It was rather dry or in fact too dry to my perference. I didn't finish it up at all.

There's always a long queue outside this restaurant, but, on that day, there wasn't a long one, so we decided to give it a try.
From the moment we got to our table, it was indeed different.
The menus were stored in a hidden compartment under the table, for easy reference
and to save space.
Everything felt like paradise - from the peanuts, to the drinks, to the food, to the service.
The steamed paenuts were really good, unlike others we had tried.
The tea was served in transparent glass tea pots and small oval glasses - it was like a scene out of a folktale from the past...
The food - in huge portions - did not disappoint.
The two types of fried rice each had their own, distinct flavour.
The surprise was the Sweet n Sour Chicken, which was a welcome change from the seafood dishes that usually came in this form.
The Egg Omelette with long beans was also a smart creation.
Of course, the vegetables went well with both types of rice.
Although the bill was a little steep, this restaurant will be on my list when i need a
special place.

my girlfriend and I headed to paradise inn at nex for some chinese food. We ordered a couple of dishes but my favourite is the ginseng black chicken soup. It tasted so good, the ginseng taste was not so overpowering. The chicken was very tender and smooth. the soup itself tasted very tasty and sweet. it goes really well with white rice. I can simply eat this every day. It is just so good! what's more, it is so affordable!
