My ex-HSBC Insurance financial planner and me was having our lunch at PastaMania's outlet near to my workplace, so both of us ordered their promotional item called Bikelicious Meal @ $14.90 inclusive of Soup + Pasta + Dessert + 16oz Soft Drink and this promotion to be ended on 30 April 2014.I like the Pastamania service because it is rather quick and efficient. continue reading

honey lemon jello $4.50 tasted weird. The combination (not sure if it's the jello or the honey lemon) tasted like syrup and the lemon taste was not strong enough. It was also quite expensive.regular supreme pizza $14.60. This was my first time trying and it was quite nice. However the capsicum was a little bitter. The chicken was quite tender and the beef pastrami was smooth in texture but not intense in flavour. The cheese had the strongest flavour among all the ingredients in it. I felt that this was a little expensive too. continue reading

We have been eating Tze Char/ Hawker Center for the longest time & finally has a change of menu to our Sunday Dinner! We initially wanted to go for dinner at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf at West Mall, but can't find a seat to accommodate 6 of us at 8pm because 90% of the outlet is filled with inconsiderate students hogging up more than 2 seats per person for studying. We decided to make our way to Pastamania since there are plenty of seats available! We took the outside seating as the seating inside the restaurant are slightly cramp. Each of us ordered a Pasta & top it up with Combo A which includes a Drink, A Soup & 2 slices of Garlic bread. Minestrone soup is terribly saltyGarlic Bread is good, with the entire surface covered with garlic spreadI had Prawn Aglio with fusili as choice of pasta. Pasta done al dente but not spicy at all! Also, I wonder why they cut the prawns in smaller cubes. Calamari is a little oily but soft & easy to chewCheese in the Cheese Stick is kind of mushy it looks like mashed potato to me. I didn't try this but friend who ate this also commented that the cheese is very mushyNice Chicken Wing. Has the kind of taste where you get during good ol-school days. One thing to note: the table was a little sticky when we sat down, so I took out my wet tissue to wipe it down, only to realize that it was so dirty that I have to use 3 pieces of wet tissues to clean it. Do prepare your own tissue to clean the table just in case you need. continue reading

Creamy Chicken FuscilliOrdered this because I was craving for carbonara. I find that their creamy sauce is too thick and creamy (sometimes it's wetter). I could not finish the whole plate of pasta as I got the jelat feeling halfway through my meal. Their standard should be consistent. The wetter version was okay and more tolerable though. Service was very fast (I got my order 5 minutes later) so thumbs up for that! continue reading

Always wanted to try out their dessert, so went for it around 9plus, ordered the banana pizza! To my amazed, the banana pizza was a little crunchy, so you can actually eat it with your hand instead of using the cutlery! The banana was just good in portion, but I think more will be better as I love bananas a lot! It went well with the chocolates! The pizza was not too thick, so I think it was good to be served as dessert! Besides, they allowed you to choose your ice cream flavour! Worth a try! continue reading
