First time come to Kallang Leisure Park which has nothing much to shop. So we looked for some food to eat. We found the restaurant PastaMania at a corner. Not so many people in the area, it is very quiet too. So there was no need to wait for any queue. We ordered the Marinara & Turkey Bacon Cheesy Crumble. I think the Marinara still the best overall. Turkey Bacon Cheesy was disappointing for me, because I cannot taste any turkey or bacon all is just cheese. I don't really like it. continue reading

I haven't been to the Kallang Leisure Park since their last upgrading. Today, we would be watching the 'Saltimbanco' by Cirque du Soleil at the Singapore Indoor Stadum, so we decided to have our dinner here. As usual, my kids never missed a Pastamania. I was not very hungry so I ordered a Chicken Caesar Salad. It came with three small containers, one for the sauce, one for garlic breadcrumbs and one for some tiny red bits which I have no idea what's it. The tiny red bits were a little hard but tasty. There were also three pieces of chicken breast meat, my favourite. It cost only $5.90, quite worth it. The sauce was nice too. continue reading

Was at Kallang Indoor stadium to watch disney on ice last nite and as i rushed over after work, didnt have dinner instead. after the show ended, we headed to Leisure Park to see if there's any eatery still open.Decided to dine at Pasta Mania as Tab had craving for pasta. Still remembers the last time i had pasta mania was like more than 4 years ago. Seems like the standard didn't drop and in fact has new variety!Great drinks.... 3 different flavours, juz nice for 3 of us.So so only, not that fantastic.Tab's fav! not too dry nor too wet, juz nice.I'm a potato lover and waffle fries is my all time fav! I'm not a cheese person but this is reali great! light and crispy texture with soft cheese oozing out. gotto eat while hot.Nice! reminds me of buffaloes wings. Nothing fantastic as it did not brings out the full flavour of duck breast, more of cheesy ham taste. continue reading

I never quite fancied pastamania unless its really out of convenience.Their pasta isnt remarkable as it might seem. Tried a few of their pasta such as:Carbonara, Turkey Bacon/Prawns Aglio, Marinara and Beef bolognese Mussel & Clams. Most of their cream and tomato based pasta tasted quite normal. Nothing really impressed me. Perhaps the more memorable one would be the prawns aglio and Mussels & clams.I like their garlic bread thou, but that doesnt make up the overall experience rating.Overall, their prices are good enough to be forgiving. continue reading
