PastaMania (Closed)

Tired after walking, we decided to stop at the last level of Parkway Parade, Pastamania. The place is pretty empty with lots of seats. I had their Cheesy Crumble. It was my first time ordering this. The pasta is Fusilli. It is tossed in homemade cheese sauce topped with parmesan crumble. There's nothing else other than pasta and cheese. To be honest, i didn't quite like this as it was too dry to my liking. However, this dish is really cheap! So no complaints!

Had Hawaiian Pizza and Creamy chicken pasta with my friend here. The pizza is really nice and i love the crispiness of the crust. The pasta was good as well. Love that they cook them on the spot and hence when they serve, it is piping hot out from the oven or pan! Definitely one of my favorite places to have a quick lunch or dinner!

i was feeling very hungry, so when I went to parkway parade’s pasta mania, I decided to upsize my pasta. I love the fact that they allow their customer to upsize their pasta cos the normall size is kind of little for me. I ordered their spicy chicken pasta. It turned out not too spicy, but at least they provided tobacco sauce for you to season it. the sauce taste quite tomato. The pasta was perfectly cooked, not too hard, very chewy. We tried some of their pastas and pizzas.Setting - we sat "outside", which was really inside the building but outside the shop. It was great "outside" as it was less crowded since there was only a single row of tables and seats. So there was still air-conditioning but it was "outside".Value - not too bad since it wasn't expensive. But it's reflected in the not-so-good quality. Cheaper than most pizza and pasta joints. The combo meals at Pastamania are affordable and so I decided to get the meal which includes garlic bread and a soft drink. A wrong choice. The garlic bread was big but the taste was very weird. I am not sure what caused it to be weird, whether it was the butter or other ingredients. I did not quite enjoy the meal.

Got a chic ham and sausage baked rice ( $8.60) and topped it up with a soup and a drink for $3.90. Quite worth it and food is nice. Highly recommended! The place is clean and big. Good for group gathering or chill out. Should try the dessert pizza too. only $3.90 for the banana dessert pizza and $4.30 for the apple crumble pizza. I personally prefer the banana one but both are nice. Service is efficient. Food arrived fast. Should try!

This is the first time i try a soup pasta in my life and at Pastamania. It is a tomato-based Pasta. The pasta is very Q. the seafood is fresh and well cooked. The only thing I feel that it's lacking is the taste. It is still abit too light. If I were to choose, I will still prefer the normal pasta from Pastamania instead of the soup pasta.

The garlic bread in Pastamania is quite soft and tasty. There are about 6 peices and it is definitely value for money.It was not overdone and the garlic was not too strong also. I ordered a drink to go along with that. It was a fizzy drink which was quite sweet. Definitely a thirst quencher.

I wanted to have a salad after my gym workout so as not to "waste" my workout. After looking around for value-for-money salad, I decided on Pasta Mania as the Caesar Salad was relatively cheap - $4.50 only compared to other cafes/ restaurants that sell this.This was my first time trying out their Caesar Salad as takeaway & I did not regret it. I love pizza and pasta so Pastamania is my favourite place to get value for money italian food. I only like cream and olive oil based pasta so whenever I order my favourite seafood mariana which comes with tomato base, I would change to cream base.The pasta came with squids, prawns and clams and the cream sauce enhanced the aroma of the spaghetti. It tasted even better with parmesan cheese. And the hawaiian pizza was also awesome. It was definitely value for money with the size that came with it
