Urgh the food here is horrible. Every time I go here I wonder why I did. Perhaps I think after a long while the quality would have improved but it hasn't and doesn't! The carbonara sauce is thin and runny, the portions are small, the ingredients are scarce and skimpy. I had the seafood marinara because between the cream-based sauce and the tomato-based ones the latter is the lesser evil. Had to add lots of chilli flakes to get some taste. Looking for a budget place to filled my friends and my stomach for dinner!Went to PASTAMANIA cause we remembered that there's no service charge and with queues forming, food should be delectable~Perhaps there's no service charge cause you have to queue to order food upon deciding. All of us were starving and decided to have some rice, so all of us ordered their recommended chicken sausage and ham baked rice!!! Waited for around 10-15mins and it was served! Looks good! And it taste good too!I'm salivating while typing this post! HAHA! It's creamy and cheesy at a just nice level, too much, it will make one "gelat" HAHAH! My sisters and I decided on Pastamania for our lunch one day. I ordered the spicy chicken pasta as I wanted something spicy. The dish costs me $6.90, and the pasta is tomato based pasta. What I like is that we get to choose our choice of spaghetti and I chose the wholemeal spaghetti. I was surprised at how similar in taste the normal spaghetti and wholemeal spaghetti is. My friend wanted to have pasta mania but I have already eaten so I settled for a drink. Normally the carbonated drinks are quite pricey and comes in small quantity which makes them not very value for money unless you opt for a meal. However, they do have some drinks that are reasonably priced and the portion is a lot. it is one of their latest promotion. There are three flavours, calamasi cooler, passion tea quencher and apple mint. It is served in a rather big bottle. I ordered the apple mint cos I find this flavor very unique, not one you can find outside. It was pretty good. it was not too minty, you can barely taste the mint. The apple taste is rather strong though, the drink is quite gasy, I think they added sprite into the mixture. This waffle potatoes were served hot here, unlikely some other restaurants. I liked the sauce, goes with the snacks exceptionally well. Choice of pasta for the creamy chicken is spaghetti. Olive oil is used to make the dish so it will not make one feel really full. My choice of pasta was wholemeal spaghetti. The turkey bacon was quite nice. The bacon tastes really good. In between 2pm-5pm on weekdays, there's also 30% discount off for students when you flash your student pass.Despite being meat lovers, we settled for the prawn pizza. I like PastaMania's pizzas because they are thin crust, conveniently found everywhere and at affordable prices.The prawn pizza was not too bad, not as oily as compared to naturally oily pizza flavors like Pepperoni.
