I had lunch with a friend at Pastamania today as i was determined not to get any fast food. I was also attracted to their wide range of pastas at affordable prices.I got the Turkey Bacon Cheesy Crumble ($8.30) and a set (+ $4.10). The set comes with drinks and garlic bread. One orders and make payment at the counter. The interior of the restaurant is designed to look like an alfresco dining area coupled with street lamps. There is ample space to move about although i had to get up and push my chair in to let some delivery men past with their goods. Personally, i find the Turkey Bacon Cheesy Crumble didn't taste that fantastic. Even with the bacon and cheese crumbles (which was quite yummy), it didn't have a distinct taste. Just the slightest of cheese. I had try to get every bite with the crumble or bacon so its not so "bland". The good thing is the portion is a bit big. Anyway i think taste is subjective cause my friend thought it was nice. The irony. They gave quite a lot of garlic bread, like 3 pieces per person. I like it cause its heavily seasoned. continue reading

I have not been to PastaMania in awhile...while waiting for job interview, I had lunch at Pastamania. PastaMania is well known for its cheap & good pasta, I believe majority people know that. I had the Seafood Pasta Set which came with a creamy chicken soup and drink. The paste was not well mixed up in the pasta so I had to "work" for my dinner by doing some mixing. The combination of that and a mushroom cream sauce worked out well. Also, it had generous portions of seafood ingredients like clam, prawn and squid so it was a sumptuous lunch! continue reading

We ended up at Pastamania for dinner as we have not been eating pasta for quite a while and wanna try it.There are quite a lot of people eating at Pastamania and we are lucky to be able to find a table without much effort (With the help of the staff). This is a self queuing to order for food while they will serve the pasta to you once it is doneThe Caesar Salad is fresh with bacon bits on top of it. we added in a little bit of the salad cream as we do not really like too much cream on our salad for healthy purpose. This is one dish which I will always order as it is quite healthy and easy to eat to me. Taste wise is great too as I like it simple with lots of Parmesan cheese. This is a soup version of Pasta which my friend ordered as she too do not wish to eat too creamy or thick tomato base pasta but I do not really like this type of soup based pasta though. One of our dish is added as a set (Combo C of Drink and Garlic Bread) with upgrade of their drinks to Apple Mint (Original @ $4.20) to share between the 2 of us. continue reading

It was my first time trying the Chicken and Mushroom flavor pizza from Pasta Mania. I ordered the 7 inch size which is equivalent to the personal pan size. To my surprise, it was really good. their generosity of toppings really impressed me. at every bite, you can simply taste the chicken and mushroom. The chicken is grilled to perfection, very tender and juicy. I also like the juiciness of the mushroom. The crust was really thin and crispy, goes well with the pizza. How I wished I ordered a larger size, it was just too good. continue reading

As it was dinner time, most of the places were packed with hungry people, thankfully for the large venue of pastamania, I did not wait long before I got a seat. I ordered their 7 inch sesame coriander chicken pizza. The 7 inch is just like pizza hut’s personal pan. The pizza is thin crust so it was not too filling. The sesame coriander chicken topping is really good, it is more on the sweetish side instead of the savoury side. It is pretty cheesy which makes it very yummy. A dash of tobasco sauce gives it a spicy sour flavor. continue reading
