We order the noodle and hor fan. Hor Fan has wok hei - so it is really tasty. The noddle goes very well with the crispy chilli sauce. Not sure what's inside the chilli sause but it sure taste fantastic. It has bits for fried garlic and hae bi, so flavourful, so heavenly.

We also ordered the beef stew. It really surprised us it was so well cooked and the portions were huge, for a place like this.

Overall, it's value for money and the food is excellent. One of the best we tasted around Marina Bay Sands without buring a hole in your pocket.

FOODCooked in XO sauce, the carrot cake taste quite normal, but could be better if more chili are added to it. AMBIENCE

Located at a quiet corner of Garden By The Bay, this restaurant offers a calm and peaceful dinning environment to the patrons. A good place to dine and chill as you admire the skytres in the garden.

In the heart of the Gardens by the Bay (GBB) below the OCBC Skywalk lies a cluster of restaurants lining the circumference of the Supertrees. Peach Garden is the first restaurant in this cluster facing the concrete central courtyard and the trio of towers forming the Marina Bay Sands (MBS) Hotel. We were their first customers, relieved to enter the cool haven for brunch at 11am on Saturday. The restaurant has high ceilings and we spotted a couple of birds twittering away from the branches of the supertrees. The wait staff are mainly China nationals and we were left to browse the menus on our own. The menu has a limited selection of dim sum, congee, assorted roast meats served on their own or with rice/noodles, one dish meals of fried rice and rice noodles, some stir fried dishes and a few types of double boiled soups. Food prices are no different from other Peach Garden restaurants in the city.We were delighted to find century egg & pork congee priced from $6.50++ and wonton noodles priced from $6.80++. Beverages and iced desserts cost relatively more, presumably to discourage non diners from hoarding the limited tables & seats to escape the heat outside. Chinese Pu Er tea cost $1.90++ per glass. We settled on the shrimp dumpling noodles and the roast duck noodles, both of which were very good. We were lucky to arrive early as more people ventured into the restaurant after 12pm. We decided to linger a while longer to people-watch in cool comfort. Pineapple shaved ice was priced from $6.00++ but we chose the dragon fruit shaved ice at $8.80++ (see photo). The only other restaurants that offer more economical meals than Peach Garden are Hill Street Kopitiam (adjacent to Peach Garden) and Texas Chicken.
