I love vietnamese food for its no frill and easy dishes. You know what you want exactly and go in and order. Quick and Fast!We bought takeaway which was really fast also! My friend claims that the queue here during lunch hours is crazy long, so it must be good!We got there around 5 plus which was between lunch and dinner hours so there wasn't anyone around and the service was really fast! We ordered the spring roll platter ($7 nett) which comes with both shrimp fresh rice paper roll and deep-fried minced pork rolls. I never like vietnamese spring roll as I don't like the lemongrass or minty taste in it. Boy! This really changed my opinion! I love every bit of it!! The deep-fried minced pork roll was also really nice, it was juicy and it didn't feel like I was eating pork!Main dishho Sliced Beef ($8.90?). The soup was absolutely delicious (I think this is one of my top 5!), the noodles were soft and silky, the beef was really tender and easily chewed. My only gripe was that there's no bean sprouts. I love beansprouts in my pho and sliced onion just doesn't cut it as well. Still, I had no trouble polishing it off as it was really really awesome! I would love to sit in the store and enjoy my pho whilst listening to the store owners chit-chat in their local dialects.

Pho 99 is a little Vietnamese restaurant tucked at the corner of Amoy Street just opposite Amoy Street Food Centre. Pho 99 serves authentic Vietnamese cuisine and you can also find Trung Nguyen Vietnamese drip coffee here.The hot and steamy Pho with sliced beef and meatballs were as good as what I had in Vietnam. It also came with a side plate of basil, sawtooth like herb, lime and chopped chilli which you can add to your likings.Bun Thit Nuong is a simple and popular noodle dish in Vietnam. It consists of cold rice vermicelli mixed with fresh vegetables and topped with grilled/bbq pork chop. It is served in Nuoc Cham sauce a type of Vietnamese dipping sauce made mainly from fish sauce. My first impression of the noodle dish is Vietnamese rice roll unwrapped version. It tasted pretty good with the different textures. It is light, low fat, healthy and cool.
