Signature Dishes
This stall is in my top list for good fried black carrot cake. The texture of the carrot cake was soft and moist. It was cut in chunky pieces then fried it with sweet dark sauce with a generous bits of preserved radish added. I always requested for extra chilli to be added too. The portion of beaten egg was rather good. The carrot cake has got an intense flavor of dark sweet sauce coupled with a nice eggy taste. This is one of the better fried carrot cake that i had eaten.

The starting price for this carrot cake is $1.50( without egg), but there is still little traces of eggs so, it is still worth it for those who had ate too many eggs in a week and want to cut down their egg in take. The carrot cake has this traditional taste, just that it is slightly oily. It does not have too much dark sauce like most of the carrot cake sold. If you want a regular carrot cake, you can get it for $2, till cheap and fulling though

This is one of the oldest carrot cake stalls in Singapore, it tasted much better about 2 years ago but the standard dropped significantly when i visited a few months ago. It is still an above average fried carrot cake but no longer outstanding or perhaps i am just expecting too much? The carrot cake fried with a generous amount of eggs and it will be even nicer with extra preserved radish. You will definitely enjoy this plate of tasty and fragrant fried carrot cake if you have no prior experience to compare. I would think it is still worth trying so do give it a try if you happen to be in the vicinity.
