For full review, pls visit: http://uniquelious.blogspot.sg/2014/03/pin-si-restaurant-yishun-safra.htmlRecently went to Pin Si restaurant for my parent birthday celebration. Initially thought there won't be much people for a sunday dinner since this is located in Safra. But i was wrong, there are actually alot of reservations on the list and people are streaming in before 7pm. We order their 10 pax set dinner which cost at $398++. This does not include drinks or rice. If you are a safra member, you get to enjoy 10% off the bill which is quite worth it as you get to earn points for your safra card too. Btw, they can keep your birthday refrigerated, and the staff are willing to help you if you are planning a birthday surprise.

Pin Si located in Safra Yishun is not really an accessible place for those without a car, but it still is a reputable restaurant which has quite a fair share of fans who are willing to travel there (or the other branch at Ang Mo Kio Hub). The restaurant serves generally ok Chinese food, and there isn't any particular outstanding dish which I want to specifically mention. However, the lo hei which we had then was a memorable one. It has a variety of dishes & yummy sauces, and I find myself finishing my share of lo hei efficiently. What's more, the staff are friendly and attentive, which makes my family outing an enjoyable one. Will be back there for another round of lo hei next year!

The restaurant located at level 2 of the Yishun SAFRA Country Club is quite spacious and has a relaxing atmosphere. The waiters/waitresses were very attentive too.The Deep Fried Beancurd with Pork Floss was our favourite among the dishes we ordered. It was shaped into a huge oval shape and deep fried. Crispy on the outside and smooth in the inside. The Peking Duck Skin with Crepe was only so so. The duck skin lacked the fragrant and crisp. The duck skin also lost its texture in the thick crepe. The remaining duck meat was used to fry noodles and it was pretty good. The Salted Egg Prawn was fresh and nice. It had a coating of salted egg which was nicely cooked, neither too dry or moist. The Steam Grouper Fish was fresh and firm. The vegetable was also nicely cooked and done.

Was here for a meal of yusheng with my family. The restaurant was very quiet, only occupied by a few tables. The yusheng we ordered was fresh and tasty. There was lime added to give the dish a more appetizing taste. Also, we ordered a plate of crabmeat ee-mian. It was something different from the zi char we outside. The noodles had bits of beaten egg and crab meat slices..a very yummy dish.
