Ever since Pizza Hut came out with their pasta menu a couple of years back, they have always been improving on their recipe and coming out with new selections. Here are some of my favourite pastas worth sharing! Basil Crayfish ($12.90) – Ocean fresh crayfish and succulent prawns atop a luscious serving of spaghetti with capsicums, olive oil, roasted garlic, lemon zest and tossed with sweet and spicy basil sauce. This is from the Specialty Pasta selection which had left a deep impression in me. The crayfish and prawns were done just right with a fresh springy texture. The sauce had a tinge of spiciness and the fragrance from the roasted garlic and the zest of lemon gave it a wholesome flavour. I’m sure seafood lovers will definitely love this. Turkey Bacon Carbonara ($8.90) – Take pleasure in the satiny smooth taste of linguine doused with cheesy cream sauce accompanied by baked turkey bacon and fresh button mushrooms. This is a classic pasta which have a long history. No doubt it has got to be in the menu of Pizza Hut. The creamy cheese sauce gave the linguine a smooth and light feel as it’s neither overwhelmingly thick nor salty. The turkey bacon and button mushrooms added the bite and taste which complimented the overall of this pasta.I have been a fan of Barilla Italian pastas and I'm glad Pizza Hut uses them for their pasta dishes. Would definitely look forward to more of their signature creations! continue reading

We had some cut outs from eating the Doritos chips. As I did not know what to eat for lunch and since I had the coupons, I decided to redeem a personal pan pizza for my lunch. There are a variety of pizzas like Meat Lovers, Veggie Delight, but I redeemed the classic Hawaiian pizza. The pizza is quite filling to finish on my own due to the large amount of carbohydate from the thick pizza bread. The taste is typical of hawaiian pizza with the cheese, ham and pineapples. I liked adding the chilli flakes to the pizza to further add dimension to the taste. continue reading
