Went to Pizza Memoirs after work. As it was my first time there, the place is not easy to find as it was not near mrt and need to take cab or bus from Tiong bahru or clarke quay. The place is quite relaxed and casual and it's a great place to chat with your friends as it shows live soccer match on a big screen. Besides pizza, it also sells fries at $4.90. The portion of the fries was quite huge and we couldn't finish it for 2 person. After looking through the menu, i decided to order the seafood pizza. It was quite cheap as it costs $15 and serves 2 to 4 person. We had to wait around 15 minutes for the pizza to be served. There was quite a generous amount of seafood like squid, prawns and crabmeat on the pizza. The only thing is the pizza crust was abit soft and soggy if left unconsumed for 2hours.Read More

My girlfriend and I tried out pizza memoir. We ordered their rocket salad to kick start our meal. The rocket salad is so refreshing. The vegetables were so crisp and crunchy. The balsamic dressing is so good, went well with the salad. We could not resist and ordered two of their pizzas, the salmon and the capricciosa. The pizza was so good. it was my first time tasting the capricciosa pizza but it was not going to be my last. Love the combination of shitake, ha,, artichokes and black olive on the tomato base. The salmon pizza was so good. they used fresh slamon and caramelised onions making it so delicious! we were so fulled after eating up everything.Read More

This 12"Hawaiin Pizza cost $20. The bread is think crust, quite nice, but a bit salty. I like the ourter part, got the nice smeel of bread. This is a normal pizza, made with tomato sauce, bell chilli, ham, pineapple and mozzarella cheese. It just normal,so not very worth to use $20 to eat this pizza. Maybe can ordered other pizza next time.Read More

In August, I was rewarded a $10 Pizza Memoirs voucher by Openrice for being one of the new top openricers. I didn't have the opportunity to visit the restaurant these two months but because today was the day of expiry of the voucher, I made a special trip there. Actually, it couldn't be considered a restaurant. It was one of the stalls within a shophouse. There were three other stalls beside. The dining area was sort of outdoor. Though there was no aircon, it wasn't too hot. I was there around 12.30pm and there wasn't any customer yet. They have a variety of both pastas and pizzas. I ordered a small Salmon pizza takeaway for my kids. The cost of the pizza was $15 but they charged $1 for pizza takeaway. Their speciality was the 100% handmade pizza. There was only one man maning the stall. He took a dough and rolled it out into a flat circle. He placed the flattened dough on a circular wire mesh. Then he took a fresh salmon steak from the fridge and cut it into thin slices.First he spread the sauce, then added the cheese, salmon and onion. Finally, he took out a bottle containing tiny green 'beads' in vinegar and added some on the pizza. I thought it was pea but he told me it was some kind of fruit. It tasted sour. After all was done, he placed the pizza into the stone oven. 11 minutes later, a fragrant delicious looking pizza was done. He sliced it and place it in a box. He added a little more cheese. It was two hours later that I tasted a slice of the pizza. It was still very nice even after so long. The crust was a little like bread. It was not salty. The salmon was fresh. The little green 'bead' was a little sour. The combination was good. It would definitely taste better when it was fresh from the oven. I must find another opportunity to dine here. Read More

Last time when i joined openrice,i've been rewarded a voucher.$10 for Pizza Memoirs.I'm so happy about it,so i share this happiness with my friends. The place is so beautiful and comfortable.I think European like to go there. This shop is unthe The Foundary. There also got TBB-The Better Burger,North Indian Tandori,Baan Khun Nai Thai cuisine and a bar. Some people will go there for a drink after jogging. That day is a rainy day,so we also feel the coldness. We also enjoy the old songs there.REally lots of old song, but i like it.:)But,there are quite lots of houseflies. So annoying. This 12"Hawaiin Pizza cost $20.But i used the voucher,so i just need to pay $10..So happy. The bread is think crust, quite nice, but a bit salty.I like the ourter part, got the nice smeel of bread. This is a normal pizza, made with tomato sauce, bell chilli, ham, pineapple and mozzarella cheese. It just normal,so not very worth to use $20 to eat this pizza.Maybe can ordered other pizza next time.Read More

Hawaii PizzaWent all the way down from Yishun to Clarke Quay just to have this pizza ($20).Very ordinary and not surprising. The only thing i like is the dough (or crust) which is toasted quite fragrantly but quite salty also. The stuffs is also not very nice. This is just not a "Pizza Memoirs" that i would patronize again.Read More

Went to Pizza memoirs which is very far from Clarke Quay mrt station and walk all the way down to there just to have a pizza as brunch. This is really disappointing coz it tasted very ordinary only. i prefer to have either Domino's or Pizza Hut which is much more tastier. Anway the environment there is quite good esp at night coz it is mainly for drinking beer.Read More

To people who want a quick read about my Pizza Memoirs experience, I have simply one thing to say:BrilliantWhere shall I begin?Alright then, service. The waitress was extremely friendly and very accommodating. She was one of the reasons why the dining experience was enjoyable. The manager/boss? himself came to greet my friend and I, and asked if we were enjoying the food. He was extremely friendly as well, and I truly appreciated that. This is something that happens rarely in Singapore, but very often in the USA. It just makes your whole dining experience more personal and enjoyable. The restaurant becomes not just one to eat at, but a place to really delight in. Food? My friend and I only ordered the Seafood Pizza, and we LOVED it. It was delivered to our table, straight from the oven, piping hot. At a price of $15, we got a 9" pizza with a variety of seafood toppings - prawns, scallops, squid and mussels. The texture was chewy and soft. The mozzarella was wonderfully melted and gooey. The seafood in the pizza was abundant. I especially loved the scallops. They were succulent and came in nice chunks. It was great to bite into the pizza, and find nice juicy chunks of scallops hiding underneath the cheese. I really like the ambiance of the place. Sitting outside and enjoy pizza in the evening was great. My friend and I agreed that we would come back again. Also eating there gives you an option of trying food from the other stalls. You can even have thai and indian food if you'd like. I strongly recommend visiting here for your gourmet pizza fix. I'd like to try their specialties next time I'm there. Read More

After work, my colleagues and I had dinner at Pizza Memoirs to try their three new pizza creations—Taboo, Nightmare, and the Sweet Dreams. We all know that pizzas are very Italian, but Pizza Memoirs has managed to make their new creations very local by using ingredients we commonly see in our dishes.Taboo is one new flavour which uses curry as its main ingredient. Who would have thought that it would go perfectly well with mozzarella, right? But yeah, it tasted great! Its spiciness and strong flavour was balanced really well with its other ingredients of curry chicken cubes, yogurt, etc.Next up on the the menu was Nightmare. I don’t know why it was called Nightmare. My guess is its because of the dark crust. But anyway, out of the three, this was my least facourite. The crust was just too hard for me. Plus, the squid flavour was overpowering the whole dish so I just had a few bites and moved on to the third pizza.Sweet Dreams—this was my most favourite because I’ve always been a fan of pineapples on a pizza. However, they could’ve splurged a little more on the fruits topped on our pizza. Crust was the right kind of texture for me and I liked its combination with the Miso Mayo Sauce. Yuum!Read More

Dropped by Pizza Memoirs with some colleagues after work one day. The Foundry's corner black building is pretty hard to miss. It's surprisingly how The Foundry could house all of Pizza Memoirs, The Better Burger, Tiffin North Indian, Baan Khun Nai Authentic Thai Cuisine and The Foundry Bar in one building yet still make the area feel so spacious and airy. There were fans planted strategically around the open concept cafe. The wooden table and slanted back wooden chairs gave the cafe a very laid-back feel, and little strings of lights were strewn overhead in the bar area, setting the mood for a timeless night of good conversations, pizza and beer.Apart from the 'iced water' they served which were barely chilled (i like mine very icy cold), and the huge TV screen that were blaring at max volume, i really liked the ambience and the pizzas we tried at Pizza Memoirs. We had the 3 special gourmet pizzas that were indeed very special and very aptly named at that. I honestly did not think such weird combinations could produce such yummy results. Thumbs up on the creativity here. The crust of the pizzas were also very chewy and nicely cooked with no burnt (bitter) parts. There were Caramelized Onions, Miso Mayo Sauce, Mozzarella, Pineapples and Fish Bak Kwa in there. The Fish Bak Kwa tasted like otak-otak and could be smelt and tasted in the entire slice. I could also taste every of the ingredients in there. This was the favourite amongst my colleagues. Squid Ink and Pizza? Who would have thought? The black pepper and chili gave the pizza a very pleasant spicy aftertaste and the squid rings were good-sized and fresh. The Taboo was very flavorful, as it should be, with Marsala curry sauce, chili and generous chunks of curry chicken cubes on it.
