Chicken pie

My mum bought me chicken pie from polar puff&cakes for tea time today I really like the stuffing just that I think they could added a bit more of it.Also,it could have been a tad more spicy.OH potatoes would have made it better too!!hehe. Eating this can be abit messy though. So you might want to be extra careful!

Durian roll

I tried the durian roll from polar puff and cake and i like it alot.If you're a durian lover, this is a must try. If you are not a durian lover, you can give it a try too because it's really nice and worth it. The amount of durian they put in the roll is quite alot and it's not made of cream or anything. It's from real durian!!! Other than that, the cake itself is soft and nice!Most of us visit polar puff and cakes for their swiss roll and pastries, but you should try the durian roll too!!!! You

Most of us visit polar puff and cakes for their swiss roll and pastries, but you should try the durian roll too!!!! You can also get cakes for birthday celebration too! They also offer a wide range of cartoon characters cakes for kids too!

The Mid Autumn Festival, Polar Puffs & Cakes (West Mall) offers a tempting collection of delectable mooncakes specially created by Executive Chinese Chef, so I bought a box of 2 baked mooncake with double yolk and premium white lotus paste on 12 September 2011 evening.

The popular flavours, the White Lotus Seed Paste with Double Yolk (双黄白莲蓉月饼) comforts the soul - it tastes like the ones your mother would bake at home after dinner while drinking chinese tea.

Freshly made from the finest ingredients, each piece of mooncake (yue bing) is a delectable masterpiece. It is associated with the Mid-Autumn festive period and is an indispensable delicacy in the celebration.

The crust is relatively thin, approximately 2-3mm.

However, the name of the bakery was not imprinted in Chinese characters on top of the mooncakes except for the filling in the mooncake.

Conclusion: The photo show the attractive packaging of mooncakes from Polar Puffs & Cakes (West Mall). I can see that increased demand for mooncakes because only 3 left for this choice during the Mid-Autumn festive period.

One of the main food that i like from Polar Puffs & Cakes would be the sugar roll. It is super soft and fluffy, and the amount of sugar is just nice to be sweet yet not sickening. Also, they did not put a lot of cream, and is well affordable at about $1 per piece. The chicken pie, on the other hand, left much to be desired. It is too buttery for my liking, and also, i do not like the peas inside. There was way too little chicken in the pie too.

Yummy tuna pie!

I bought a tuna pie from polar puff today after trying their yummy chicken pie around two days ago.The tuna pie is also very yummy, the pastry is very nice. it actually has a very strong buttery taste which i like it very much. And it is also very crispy and flaky on the outside and yet so soft on the inside. The tuna is delicious too! Very fresh tuna! Slurps!
