Yesterday I had a hand made noodles at Pontian Wanton Noodles stall.

They have their own hand made noodles,That was so thin & silky,I ordered dry one with chilli & tomato sauce combination.
They gave a bowl of Noodles mixed with my required sauce & on the top they place 2 fried wantns & cooked shreded meat pieces & some cooked Spinach.

This meal comes with vegetable soup.
Tastewise,That added sauce was not blend with Noodles,It gives raw smell, otherwise that fried wantons & Noodles & soup are good to eat.

THe waiting time & the price are affordable.

There are so many pontian noodle stalls all over Singapore that we can enjoy their noodles any time we want. I enjoy having wanton noodles from this chain of stalls because of their unique fried wanton which other wanton mee stalls do not offer. Furthermore, with an extra fifty cents/ one dollar, you get to have extra servings of the yummy fried wanton. Most importantly, their noodles are well cooked, springy and dry! Pontian wan tan mee are able to find almost every food court. The noodle served here was actually pretty good, though I feel it is not the most prefect wan tan mee in singapore. i like it how they mix with just the right amount of black soy sauce, tasty yet not too salty. The toppings and other items were pretty decent as well and given very generously, and the deep fried prawn really offered value for money. If I want consistent quality of wanton mee, I look no further than the Pontian franchise of noodles. I am glad they have a branch in Holland Village Food Centre so it can be a back-up when I exhaust my food choices. The black sauce in the noodles is a nice change from the normal ketchup base and I appreciate the fact that the noodles is not as oily and the char siew is always lean. The fried wanton adds a welcome crunch to the whole dish A satisfying bowl of noodles on the whole

This is one of the best wanton mee (Malaysian style) stall in Singapore.I love their dried black sauce wanton mee. The black sauce used is really fragrant and goes very well with the noodle. The noodle doesn't have the yellow noodle kind of taste (kan shui mei in cantonese). Dry noodle comes with both fried and boiled wantons. Both fried and boiled are nice. You will be able to taste some salted fish in the meat of the boiled wantons! The soup is flavourful and tasty. The only thing is the char s

The soup is flavourful and tasty. The only thing is the char siew is kinda normal.

The price is $3 per bowl with quite a small portion.

Pontian Wanton Noodles has been a signature malaysian dish for some time now. I love its version of a different wanton noodles dish. The noodles are springy with a crunchy touch. The char siew are roasted to the soft side. Usually 2 fried wantons and 2 boiled wantons will be served in one order, however there can be a change to more of either which upon request. They do sell the fried wantons alone too, 10 wantons for the price of $3.50. I'd usually order the 'hei la' mian, dark sauce with chili
