Good:- Delicious fried chicken from Popeyes! The skin of the chicken is always so tasty and addictive, leaving you wanting for more. The meat is soft yet not too dry. In my opinion, the chicken served in Popeyes is always less oily than KFC's.- It comes along with a bread/ biscuit, which is something different from KFC.Not-so-good:- Although less oily than KFC, we should minimise eating this fried chicken too often due to the amount of oil used to fry the chicken.- The bread/ biscuit tastes great at the start, but because it is so dry, you would stop eating it halfway into it.Overall:Will drop by once in a while when I have cravings for fried chicken.…Read More

My favourite meal to order at Popeyes is actually the 3 pieces tender meal because there are totally no bones in it, and like it's name, they are super tender.The meal comes with 3 pieces of tender, one biscuit, a side dish and a cup of soft drinks.For my side dish, I chose the whipped potato. I was a little hungry before dinner and some promoters were giving out popeyes coupons so I decided to head over to popeyes to try their new cajun pepper nuggets. for 6 pieces with a regular cup of green tea, it costs $3.90 which was not at all expensive. There was a lack of pepper taste but the chicken breast nuggets were surprisingly soft and tender, though not reaching the level of thigh tenderness. Worth a try and makes a great snack! I ordered a Sunday’s deal, 3 piece tender chickens and biscuit with additional add-on of coke and Cajun Fries. Personally I didn’t like the chicken as it was rather bland, the crust wasn’t crunchy enough and was rather dry. The Cajun fries was normal but not comparable to McDonalds/A&W curly fries or long john silver fries. I think the only thing that was special and nicer was the biscuit, however I feel that the biscuit could have been better with fillings (e.g. strawberry, chocolate) in it as it was rather hard to eat the biscuit with the jam given.
